Before we reached back to his house, we heard Lenalee's voice echoing around the woods, calling my name. We stopped in our tracks as a figure showed up in our direction. Lenalee looked around the dark woods and was showing genuine worry as her eyes were red from the tears she shed earlier.
After she caught sight of me, there was a relief before she rushed to give me a tight embrace, tiptoeing to reach my height as she buried her face in my chest.
