Farewell

"What about mom?! where is she?!"

I looked between Alpha Anthony, Luna Beatrice, Alex and Chris but I got nothing for a few seconds.

Everyone seemed to mindlink so I scream at the top of my lungs.

"PLEASE TALK TO ME!"

Alpha Anthony look me straight in the eyes and I can tell he don't have any good News.

"Your mother is gone. we can't find her and I can't feel her scent anymore. We have looked for her everywhere we can think of but we can't find her, I'm worried she..."

That's when everyone react to something that I can't feel, Alex grab my arm and pull me deeper inside the room.

"Chris stay with her and don't..." but before he can end his sentence I hear a roar. A roar filled with evil and I know exactly from where it is.

I take advantage of Alex surprise and get myself freed from his grip. I run toward the pull, I feel a strong need to turn around and return to Alex and the others but the pull toward where the roar came from is much much stronger.

I run outside and feel a pain in my heart. I know something is terribly wrong, not just from that roar, something feels off.

At first I froze and stood there like everyone else, staring at the horrible scene in front of me. I stood still for only a second but that was too long.

An alpha, a black haired monster with an ice cold gaze, looking down on my mother, my fragile innocent mother, laying on the floor in front of him begging for her life.

As I realized what I was watching I started to run again but this time the people around me also had seen everything and ran around in panic, screaming and begging the alpha to stop hurting her. The Alpha didn't stop, he kicked and stomped at her old omega body, my fragile mother that never hurt anyone or did anything to anyone.

I ran faster than I ever had before.

Around me were chaos and I knew I would be too late, they were too far away.

I stopped right in front of her lifeless body and dropped to my knees.

"AMBER!!!"

I could hear him screaming my name, actually I could hear them all desperately trying to find where I ran off to.

I looked up at the man who did this, the ruthless alpha that just made my innocent mother suffer under his hand and right in front of my eyes.

I touch my mothers bloody cheek and her hand, it was already cold from being outside but I didn't feel a pulse. Her eyes didn't open even when I stroke her cheek. My tears burned, why did this happen?!

I couldn't save her. I was too slow. My worthless omega body couldn't reach her in time. This was all my fault... No wait... This was him. The alpha in front of me, it was his doing. I looked up at him.

He looked down at me with his cold pitch black holes for eyes and an evil grin.

"What?! Was that your friend or something? Take this to mind child, don't make friends with lowranked omegas, they're not worth it"

He chuckled and turned to leave me but I wouldn't let him. There's no way I will let him leave just like that. My body shook with all the rage that built up and I roared.

"I challenge you, Alpha."

His body went stiff then he faced me again.

"What did you say?!"

I stood up, dried my tears and looked him dead in the eyes while I heard my friends entering the room.

"I SAID, I AMBER-LOUISE COLLIN OMEGA OF FANGS HOLLOW CHALLENGE YOU, ALPHA."
