I stared at my trembling hands that had no strength in them.
The elders were leaders of leaders. They had magic powers and ruled over all of the packs to make sure that rules were followed. An Alpha had very much power over it's own pack and they could easily do pretty much anything they wanted but only within their pack. If it came to things like an Alpha doing something in an other pack or if it's being a war between packs then the elders would step in and use their power to make sure their rules/traditions were being followed.
"But... I can't. I'm just omega, and besides I'm female! You can't have a female alpha! That's not normal!"
