Chapter 23

(BLUe's POV)

They were all asleep, so I decided to step outside since they were already sleeping.

Our day was great.

The night wasn't dark because three moons appeared in the sky.

So the night was somewhat bright.

I walked around the forest and teleported myself to the top of a tree, where I sat in the Indian seat position.

It's beautiful here, and also windy.

I closed my eyes to enjoy the cool breeze.

Hmm, so relaxing.

I had my eyes closed and leaned against the tree for a few hours.

I didn't pay attention to the presence I felt, since I had wandered far from them.

I opened my eyes because I had been feeling the presence for a while.

I looked down.

I could still see in the dark and noticed a man with his face buried in a woman's neck.

It seemed like the woman had wandered here.

I frowned as the woman fell to the ground.

That's when I saw the man with blood all over his mouth, and his fangs slowly shrinking.

I looked at the woman's neck.

What did he do to her???

I saw shock on his face when our eyes met.

I turned away and looked at the three moons.

Why do I feel so sad when I look at those three moons?

It's like... I don't understand, it's like... Oh, never mind!

I looked down again.

The woman was gone, and so was the man.

I rested my head against the tree and closed my eyes.

I was about to fall asleep when I noticed something.

So, half-asleep, I opened my eyes.

"Are you going to sleep here?"

Tss. I thought the man had left.

He was the man who did something to the woman's neck.

Only now did I notice how pale his skin was, and his mouth was no longer full of blood like before.

He sat in front of me, holding both of his feet.

I just stared at him.

"Why do you care? Just leave," I said coldly and closed my eyes again.

Annoying.

"Aren't you scared of me? You saw what I did to that woman, right? I'm the one who did that," he said.

This man looked quite baby-faced and somewhat attractive.

"Hmm, I don't care, I'm sleepy, so leave," I said sleepily.

I was just about to doze off.

He went silent.

But then he kept poking my arm.

"What?! Can't you see I'm trying to sleep?!" I yelled at him.

I hate it when someone disturbs my sleep.

He pouted.

Ugh! So childish!

"I just wanted to ask you something," he said.

"What do you want?!" I asked irritably.

"Is your blood delicious?" he asked.

"Yes, it's delicious, so just go away, will you?!" I said.

But the man's eyes sparkled.

I raised an eyebrow at him.

But then my eyes widened when he suddenly buried his face in my neck and smelled it before biting me.

I grabbed his shoulders as he bit my neck and seemed to suck my blood.

"W-what a-are y-you d-doing?!" I asked, struggling.

What is he doing?!!

Why can't I push him away?

"You're strong, you didn't faint from what I'm doing, so I'm even more eager. Hmmmm. Your blood tastes so delicious!"

I looked up and squeezed my eyes shut as he sucked my blood harder.

My nails dug into his shoulders.

He stayed there for more than five minutes.

Until I grew weak.

I couldn't even open my eyes.

I felt him startle at what he had done.

So he quickly pulled his face away from my neck.

I fell onto his shoulders.

I was really weak.

"S-sorry! I got carried away, your blood is so delicious!! Oh! I'm really sorry!"

I felt him disappear suddenly.

Since I was weak, I fell from the tree.

But before I could hit the ground, someone caught me in a bridal style.

"Look at what you've done, Vyller!" the person who caught me said.

This is someone else.

Vyller must be the one who bit me.

(ZCEKI's POV)

Good thing I caught this woman.

Vyller is such an i***t.

This woman would be dead again.

I need to dispose of her.

"What do you mean delicious?!! Everything is delicious to you!!" Jero angrily said to Vyller.

"Vyller!!! Where should I dispose of this body now?!" I yelled angrily.

"She's still alive, Zceki."

Our eyes widened... especially when suddenly...

"OUCH!!"

I screamed as I was thrown back and dropped the woman.

Wilpen and Kyller supported me.

I was thrown by what the woman did.

Our eyes widened. The woman was still alive.

Everyone Vyller bites doesn't survive.

The woman was standing while holding the neck where Vyller bit her.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING TO ME?!!!" she suddenly shouted.

"She's still alive, man!!"

Wilpen said in disbelief.

"Wait, miss, we're not going to do anything to you," Kyller said.

"What do you mean nothing?!! He just said he was going to dispose of my body!" she pointed at me.

"Okay, sorry, I thought you were dead," I apologized.

"Don't you know the difference between dead and alive, huh?!!!" she shouted.

"Hey, woman!!! I said sorry, didn't I!! Calm down!!" I shouted back.

This woman is really getting on my nerves.

"Sorry, miss, you said your blood is delicious, so I tried it," Vyller said.

The woman glared at Vyller.

We were surprised when Vyller suddenly floated up.

"You're crazy!! What if I drained all your blood!!"

"Hey, wait! Put Vyller down!" I shouted.

"Woman! He already apologized! Put our brother down!" Kyller said.

"Put our friend down!"

Jero and Wilpen shouted.

We were shocked when the woman appeared in front of us in an instant while Vyller was still floating and struggling.

"What the?! What are you?!!" I shouted at her.

She looked at us one by one.

Then she looked at the tree.

" Do you want to end up like that tree?!!"

We shook our heads.

She lowered Vyller, so he fell to the ground.

The woman turned her back on us.

She was about to collapse, and I was about to catch her, but Kyller got to her first.

"She's so powerful! This is the first time I've been scared of a woman hahahaa" Jero

"Hahaa By the way, why do you have violet blood on your mouth, Vyller?" Wilpen

Vyller stood up and approached the woman Kyller was holding.

"Her blood is violet!!!" Vyller

"What?!! So the thing on your mouth isn't water?!!" Jero

"Of course not, as I said earlier, her blood is so delicious hmmmm and it even smells nice"

Vyller's fangs suddenly lengthened as he was about to bite the woman, but Kyller pushed him away.

"Enough, Vyller, you're getting too carried away" Kyller

Vyller's fangs shortened.

"Is it really that delicious?" I asked.

"Yes, it's super! Her blood is so obsessive!" Vyller

"Let's take her to the cave," Kyller

We walked while Kyller carried the woman.

"Where could this woman have come from??" Jero

We looked at Kyller when he stopped.....

He moved the woman's curly black hair aside and looked at her face.

We were surprised when Kyller smiled while looking at the woman's face.

And that lady was wearing black fitted leggings and a black shirt.

"I never thought that even though her skin is dark, she has a goddess-like face," Kyller said.

We walked closer and looked at the woman he was carrying.

The light of the moon hit the woman's face.

"You're right!! She's beautiful... she might look even prettier if she had lighter skin... her skin is smooth even though she's dark-skinned" Willpen

"She's pretty... and sexy, you can tell she's sexy even though she's dressed in all black" Vyller

"Alright, let's go," I said.

We'll just take a long time.

We entered the cave and arrived at the cavern.

It's not dark here.

Kyller laid the woman on the sofa.

Then he left, maybe to get something.

We approached the woman.

"I wanna taste her blood," I said.

"Go ahead, Zceki, you won't regret it," Vyller

I walked closer and knelt to be level with the woman.

Is it really that delicious??? Blood is usually delicious.

My fangs lengthened when I smelled her blood.

I buried my face in her neck and slowly sucked her blood.

I felt the woman tilt her head back and grip my clothes.

I stayed there for three minutes when Kyller hit me.

Kyller reprimanded Jero and Wilpen because they bit the woman on her arm.

"Dammit! Her blood tastes so good!" Jero said.

"It's strange that she isn't being hunted by the V tribe," Wilpen said.

"What is wrong with you guys?! Do you want to kill this woman?!" Kyller shouted at us.

We shook our heads.

"Vyller, bring the medicine here," Kyller said.

Vyller left and returned with the medicine, which Kyller immediately injected into the woman.

Our father Kyller scolded us. Tsk. You'd think he was our actual father the way he lectured us, worse than our parents.

Blah blah blah... Whatever!

"Hmmm," Kyller paused his lecture when the woman sat down.

We moved away; we didn't want to risk getting caught in an explosion.

She opened her eyes.

Wow, her eyes were red and blue. Amazing! And she was beautiful despite her dark complexion.

Kyller gave her some water.

"Where am I?" she asked.

"You're in the cave we discovered. You fainted earlier," Kyller said.

"Ah! Why do I have so many bite marks?!" she suddenly asked when she saw her arm.

"Sorry! They were obsessed with your blood," Kyller said.

"Is my blood all gone?!" the woman said.

"Hahaha, if your blood was all gone, you wouldn't be here!" I laughed.

"Yeah, right... This cave is beautiful... and you're Kyller, you seem to be the only nice one among them," she said.

"How did you know my name?!" Kyller asked.

The woman shrugged.

"You're lucky I'm in a good mood... Give me some snacks," she said.

"Who are you?" Wilpen asked.

"My name is Blue, Wilpen," she said.

Wilpen was surprised that she knew him.

"Zceki, I don't know who Wilpen is," she said.

Wait, how did she know what I was thinking? Can she read minds?

"Yes, you're right, Zceki," Blue said with a smile.

"Can you really read our minds?!" I exclaimed, surprised.

"Over and over..."

"Blue... your name is weird," I said.

"Everyone finds it weird," she said.

Shut up! Leave already!

And then she even stuck her tongue out at me.

I saw Jero bring some cookies.

"Thanks," Blue said.

"Blue, which kingdom are you from?" Jero asked.

"No idea. Hey, Vyller, why are you so quiet?" Blue asked with a furrowed brow.

Yeah, why is that guy so quiet?

Vyller looked at Blue and then at her neck.

Vyller then averted his gaze and swallowed.

Oh no! He's obsessed with Blue's blood.

"D-don't mind me," Vyller said.

Blue continued eating until...

"WILPEN!!" we shouted in surprise as Wilpen threw a poisoned knife at Blue, hitting her in the chest.

"She might be an enemy!!" Wilpen said.

Wilpen was about to throw another knife at Blue when Blue suddenly turned into water and disappeared.
