My grandmother Bunny once told me that death isn't the end but it's the beginning.
I don't know what GiGi's soon-to-be demise will be the beginning of for her and I don't know if she'll be going up or going down after she takes her final breath but I know that for myself, my husband and our children, it's gonna the beginning of a peaceful future for all of us.
"Can you do me a favour, Lace?"
Logan asks me as we stand in front of GiGi with Klayton standing next to me and Benjamin and Connor book ending all of us.
"Sure, what's up?"
Logan lets out a breath as he looks at GiGi before looking at me.
"Don't dawdle, ok...just ask her what you need to ask her and then let Klayton take over, don't let yourself get too worked up and don't let her wind you up either"
I smiled
