Chapter 3 -In Need Of Your Service

Primrose (P.O.V)

I sighed taking a sip of my morning coffee which has always been my morning addiction. I honestly wouldn't be able to function without it especially after the visit I had last night and the lack of sleep I was already on my 2nd cup.

I walked into the office I share Noel. I walked over towards my desk setting my stuff down then removed my sunglasses. I barely put any effort into my appearance, my hair was thrown into a messy bun and I barely had any make up on.

"Rosie did you get hit by a bus on the way here?". Noel asked making me roll my eyes.

"Very funny but no I didn't just had a hard time getting any sleep since Grayson stop by". I said sitting down at my desk and saw Noel eyes were widened.

"He finally grew a pair to show his face again". Noel hissed angrily she had been my main support system and was Cole's godmother.

"Yup". I said popping the Noel leaned over her desk. "Nearly pepper sprayed his ass last night". I said making Noel brow rise up in interest.

"Oh what did he do for that reaction". Noel said rubbing her hands together.

"You remember Emily the crazy b***h that tried to seduce him before we got married". I said as Noel nodded her head at the edge of her seat. " I won't go into details but the i***t believed her when she gave him evidence that apparently showed me cheating with his dad". I said which made Noel start laughing until she noticed I wasn't.

"Your kidding right?". Noel asked with widen eyes.

"Not one bit love". I said rubbing my hands over my face.

"What are you going to do??? Are you going to give him a chance to be the Cole's life?". Noel asked worriedly.

"I really don't have much of a choice. Yesterday dinner broke my heart when Cole asked why his dad wasn't around or if he didn't want him". I said as tears nearly filled my eyes.

"You still love him don't you". Noel said as it was more of a statement than a question.

"I don't think I've ever stopped". I said sincerely. "It's hard when I have to look at Cole every day he's a reminder the the relationship we shared". I said shrug my shoulders. As I said before no matter how much I love Grayson it will take a lot to ever think about giving him a second chance.

"I hope you know what your doing". Noel said with a sympathetic smile.

"I hope so too". I muttered turning on my laptop.

I was typing on my laptop and writing down some note for a design when my office phone started ring. I picked up the phone and turning to a fresh page in case it was a new client.

"Silver Rose Interior Design Primrose Silver speaking how may I help you?". I said in a professional tone.

"Prim I....". Immediately recognizing I cut Grayson off.

"What do you want now Grayson?". I asked irritated as I put my pen down.

"I want to know when can I see my son". Grayson said making me pinch the bridge of my nose.

"Grayson you can't be interrupted me at my workplace. I'm still have a bit of thinking to do just because I accept the fact that I will allow you in Cole life doesn't mean it's going to happen right away". I said rubbing my hands over my face in frustration.

"Well good thing I called because I'm in need of your services". Grayson said as I could picture the smirk on his face.

"What services exactly?". I asked narrowing my brow although he couldn't see it.

"Well I intend to have my son over sometimes so I want to hire you to decorate his room to his liking". Grayson said making my eyes widen.

"What???". I squeaked out. "Cole isn't going to be going back-and-forth between LA and New York". I said trying to keep myself calm.

"Well good thing my new place isn't in LA., so when are you available to come over?". Grayson asked making me glad I put down my favorite pen because it would have been snap in half by now.

"I can't but I'm sure Noel would love to take the job". I said as I wasn't ready to face in at the moment.

"I'm sure she would but I'm sure our son would enjoy it more if we did it together". Grayson said with a smirk in his voice. I knew him like the back of my hand and his voice always went a bit higher when he smirked.

"Fine you win but don't get any ideas. I'll get in contact with you soon". I said before hanging up without letting him respond.

This is not how I pictured my week would go when I woke up Monday morning. It was going to be a stressful with Grayson in my life again. He just barged into our lives throwing it into chaos.
