Briar POV Before I can respond to what he said, I hear the front door opening. I can't even describe the relief I feel when Dante and Dennis step into the kitchen. Dante's eyes meet mine before they land on Tony standing on the other side of the island. Dante's eyes darken, and he takes a step toward him. "Aren't you supposed to be at the gate? Why are you inside the house? Were you invited inside," he asks. Tony straightens his back and I can tell he is not happy to be questioned by Dante.
