"It was a belt of sorts, but like no belt I have ever seen! It had five long thin tail of pliant looking leather all dangling from a black handle. Each tail was a good four feet long and nearly touched the floor as he approached mum’s bare behind. He took up a place to her right and with a deft flick of his wrist the tails stretched out cutting through the air. Only a practice flick of the wrist for him but the sound as the leather’s cut and whoosh filled me with trepidation. I felt the fear in my guts as though it was my bare bottom that was about to feel the tender kiss of that leather. Mum twitched in her bonds, I think she was trying to speak but couldn’t.”
