I Never Trust You!

Rose's POV I get up and run to my room. But my knees hit the table. "Ugh…" I feel pain in my knees. But I still managed to get into my room. I pick up my mask and phone and run back to the main door. "And Ten…" I heard Lucas' voice as he was ready to break down the door. But before he touches my door, I open it very quickly. "Right on time. Congratulations! You save your door." Marcus smirks devilishly when he sees me. "Still that annoying mask on?" Lucas mocked me in his usual tone as he patted my forehead like always. 'Why are you here?' I asked using sign language. "Still this boring language? When did you stop playing this childish game? I'm getting bored." Lucas said, pushing me aside. He walked inside. I follow him in frustration. Why do these guys never understand me? "Hey, it's so dark in the room. Why do you turn off the lights, Rose? What are you up to? Marcus sees the damn switch." Lucas's voice felt angry. "Ok…." I heard Marcus's footsteps behind me. Lucas stopped in the middle and I hit his back hard. He turned to me, now I can see it's dark here. I can only see their light shadow because of the street lights outside. "Rose… You…" Lucas was about to snap at me, but he stopped in the middle. He grabbed me by the arms and pulled me close to him. I was so shocked by his sudden action. I never expected him to do something like this. His hot breath hit my neck as he snuffled my neck. "You were taking a shower when we came here, didn't you?" He whispers to me. I managed to find a node. Then I feel his nose touch my neckline sniffing my neck even more. What happened to him today? He acts weird. "You smell so good…." His voice is so low I feel like I miss hearing it. "I found a switch, and here you go." Marcus then switched. A sudden light makes me close my eyes. But when I opened Lucas's face was closed to me. As our eyes meet, his eyes widen in surprise. He steps back from me as soon as he sees my eyes staring at him. I never felt him this close to me before. Or just because I stay away from them too long, I feel this strange? "Now it's better…" Marcus's voice brings me back to reality. 'What are you both doing in my house?' I asked them to use sign language. "We don't get it; what are you saying, Rose? Can you use your mouth to talk?" Marcus asked. Lucas frowned in displeasure and sat on the sofa like in his own home. I look at both of them in frustration. The idea came to mind. I ran up the stairs to my room and picked up my iPad. It will be helpful to communicate with them. I ran back to where they were sitting waiting for me. I stand in front of them and write on my iPad. "What's this new?" Lucas frowned in annoyance. I show them my iPad. "What are you doing in my house?" Marcus read. "Your mom requested us to give you some company tonight. They were working with our dad at night. You are alone in the house, so they asked us to spend the night here." Lucas said calmly. 'Really?' I thought, then I will write on my iPad again. “Did you think we lied to come here?” Marcus asked. He has the same cocky smile on his face. I write on my iPad and show him. "I'm not a baby who needs two babysitters. You two can go home." Marcus read loudly. "Do we look like a babysitter to you?" Lucas asked, pointing at himself. "Maybe yes, two handsome babysitters… For a baby girl." Marcus chuckles softly. These two! I write words that I can't say out loud and show them. "Shut up!" Marcus read and laughed loudly. They give high-fives to each other as they enjoy my frustration. "Hey, why are you laughing?" I write and show them. "It's so funny, Baby girl. It feels like you are snapping at us the same way when we were together back then." Marcus reminds me of the old days. ‘Did you two still remember? I doubt that.’ I look away irritably. "Baby girl… The name suits her…." Lucas chuckles as his eyes roam over me. "Stop calling me like that… I'm not a baby…" I write with an annoying face. "You are… You're acting like a baby, Rose. And this little pyjama makes you look like a baby too. So from now on, we are calling you baby girl until you talk directly using your words. Right, Lucas?" Marcus said stubbornly. ‘Directly? In your dream.’ I rolled my eyes annoyedly. "I don't mind calling her baby girl; she looks like one in these short pyjamas." Lucas said. I take back Lucas’s comments. I look down at my short pyjama pants. What's wrong with these? "But I mind!! Now stop calling me that name." I write and show them furiously. "Oh, come on. When we finally decide to do something, we never change our minds, you know it, Rose. So stop complaining and accept it." Marcus waves his hand carefree. I know how stubborn they can be. I sigh and write something different. I show them my iPad. "I had lots of homework. I'm going to my room. Do not enter my room and don't disturb me." Marcus read. "So boring!! It's a holiday, baby girl. We need to chill. Have some movies and popcorn. But we knew you wouldn't listen to us. So we ordered pizza. Pizza is on the way… You like pizza right?" Lucas smiles at me. 'Pizza! My first love! Wait, I can't eat in front of them. They will see the scar on my lips and chin. I write on my iPad and show them. "I already had my dinner. You can eat yourself. I'm leaving. Can't you just wait a little more? The pizza is on the way." Marcus read and answered it. I was about to write on the iPad. Suddenly the doorbell rings and makes me jump in fear. Marcus jumps to his feet and walks to the door. My heart was beating loudly. I hope it's not him. My eyes were glued to the door all the time. Marcus opens the door. I can't see who he is, because Marcus Lucas was a tall and wild boy in our school. His body was hiding the person at the door. "You! What are you doing here?" Marcus's voice sounds surprised. "I'm here for pizza delivery… Hey, we met today, did you remember me?" I heard Mark's voice and shivered. 'He is here… If the boys are not here he will be with me… No!' I jump in fear as my hand lands on my shoulder. "Why are you trembling?" Lucas put a hand on my shoulder. I turn my face to him. He looked worried. I remove his hand and shake my head in No. I hope he stops acting weirdly. He wants to show he cares for me. Care, kindness, and love are not for them. And don't trust their acting. Sorry, Boys! I never trust you!! *****
