Lost in Between

Preface

This is my first attempt to write a story here on Dreame, and I can't wait to see where it will lead me.

The chapters of this story are divided into parts with approximately one-thousand words each. The reason behind this is to make the collosal endeavor of writing a novel, seem much less intimidating by simply taking it one-thousand words at a time. Another reason is to help myself overcome writer's block, and it works like this: Whenever I experience a block, I look at the word count and fool myself into believing that I only have to write a few hundred more. It's not true of course, but it does the job. With that said, I will attempt to publish one part per day.

I hope you will enjoy what I have worked hard to create, but more than that, I hope you can take the time to leave constructive criticisms or simple feedback on what you have read, be it on the content, the prose, or both. I believe it's the only real reward an author here on Dreame can have, the inputs necessary for us to improve ourselves as both a writer and a storyteller.
