I looked at Jason, lost for a minute. I sat down next to him on the porch signaling him to continue. "My sister was older than me. She was always the shy one, always thinking about others. She loved learning new recipes from my mom and always watched my dads favorite movie with him. I was always messing and joking around with her. I stayed home every Saturday so we could catch up on our shows together." Jason closed his eyes for a second before looking down, continuing "She didn't know I knew but she had a diary and she would write her hopes and dreams and what happened that day. I never read all of it but when I first found it, I read the first page which was her dreams for the future. She wanted to be liked by everyone, she wanted to get married, and move away. She wanted to be a Veterinarian. We went to school together for one year and whenever I saw her I played around with her. I wanted everyone to know that was my sister. I guess sometime after winter break, a guy from her class started speaking to her. They would take online and over the phone. You could see she was always smiling, trying to dress up, put on makeup, and did her hair. You could see that she was finally really happy. One thing led to another and he asked her for explicit photos and since they were talking for a few months and to my sister they were together like a bf and gf. I remember one night she went out and didn't come home till really late. Later on, we found out that's when they had s*x. The next day at school, he had shared her pictures with everyone around the school and told her it was a joke as his friends dared him to see how easy she would be." At this point, Jason was crying and instinctively I grabbed and held his hand. "she went home that day and I had no idea why. My parents and I just assumed she was feeling down. The following Saturday my friends had asked me to go hang out. When she heard, she told me she wasn't in the mood to watch shows and told me to go have fun. So I did and I spent the night at a friends house. I got a call at 5 am that I needed to get home now. My mom had went in my sisters room to let her know she was going out and to make sure she was ok. My mom found her face down on the bed. She had cut herself and took pills. I rushed to the hospital but it was too late she didn't make it." Jason sniffled and continued "I went in her room after that and thats when I saw all the messages online and her diary and found out what happened. I went to school and beat the s**t out of the guy who broke her heart and he was in the hospital for a few weeks and my parents pressed charges. Last I heard, he was too young to be tried as an adult and was in Juvie. My sister was the light in our family. She was the one who held my parents and I together. When she died, a piece of us did too. My relationship with my family hasn't been the same. I started acting out, always angry. I got expelled. My dad became overbearing and pressuring me. My mom stayed to herself no longer smiling always being overprotective about where I am and who I am with.
"Jason, I am so sorry. I had no idea and I wish I could've met her because I am sure we would have gotten along", I said, with tears running down my eyes. At this point I was leaning against him holding his hand. He looked at me "I miss her. Your the first person I have told about this. " Jason said as he got up. I got up and gave him a hug and he smelled like heaven. He looked at me in my eyes and wiped my tears. We stared at each other for a few minutes before we heard the dog barking. "um, we should get inside" I said as I put distance between us. We walked up the stairs into the house. Jason went to his room and I went to the kitchen to clean up a little and make some dinner so when Mom got home she could just relax. I just could not get Jason's hug out of my head.

I closed my room door and opened up my nightstand. I grabbed my book and took the picture out. This is the first time in weeks looking at the picture. It was a picture of me and my sister one summer. We had a pool party and my mom had asked us to take a picture. I laid in bed, praying that my sister found peace. I never expected to tell Alysia about my sister and I never expected for her to hold my hand. Remembering the hug, I couldn't help but think of how her body fit perfectly against mine, how she smelled like vanilla but her hair smelled like flowers, it was intoxicating and how soft her hands were. I got up and took a shower reminding myself I couldn't fall for her. Since I met her, Her eyes have haunted me in my dreams. I wanted nothing more than to kiss her soft lips and run my hands all over her body but she wasn't like other girls. She didn't care what anyone thought and she spoke her mind. I took a shower and laid in bed closing my eyes and all I saw was her eyes staring into my soul.
