“I didn’t expect to see you here,” Mike Montclair said in that exceptionally deep voice.
The macho side of Trent wanted to be challenged by it, but he squashed that because Adalia’s brother was the opposite of a threat. He was the only help they’d get and Trent was happy to rely on him.
Mike Montclair was a wise man. He’d built himself up from nothing and Trent respected that quality above all else in a person. It was the reason he’d fallen in love with his Adalia. That, along with her sexy curves and her fiery personality.
