***Camila's Point Of View***
Nothing happened. His lips lost their warmth with each second that passed. He couldn't be gone… no!
Removing my lips from his, I pressed my ear down to his chest.
"Please… you can't leave me now. I need you, Caspian. Please, take my powers."
Tears streamed down in rivers down my cheeks as his faint heartbeat fully ceased.
"No…. No…. NO!!!!"
My heartbroken wails echoed through the ward.
Gently, I felt myself pulled into a pair of arms. Looking up, Brandy's tear stained cheek pressed against my hair as she held me.
"He's… gone. Brandy! I managed to come down to Earth and he dies! Is it because I came back? Was it my fault?"
Covering my face with my hands, I continued to sob openly.
Marcus came over after hearing my sobs.
