PART 7 – TRAPPED IN OBSESSION

1. NADINE – TRAPPED IN THE LION'S DEN The air in the room was so cold, it pierced down to her bones. As Nadine slowly opened her eyes, her awareness returned gradually, like mist lifting bit by bit. Her eyes burned, her breath was heavy, and her body felt stiff. She couldn’t move. Her hands were bound with leather straps behind the cold chair. Her legs were also tied, leaving her no space to fight back. Her heart pounded. Her eyes scanned the room—gray stone walls without large windows, only a small barred window that barely let any light in. There was only one large steel door in front of her, tightly shut. Her mind immediately replayed the last events she experienced. Lucas. Queen Dior. Adrian. The apartment door swinging open. Queen Dior standing there, with an unreadable expression. And then… Adrian appeared. He took her just like that, as if she were an object that had always been his. Lucas couldn’t do anything. And now she was here. Alone. Her heart raced faster, and the fear slowly gripped her. Then, footsteps echoed from behind the steel door. One step. Two steps. Nadine held her breath. The sound of a click came from the lock being turned, and in an instant, the door opened. The man she hated most walked in calmly. Adrian Callway. He wore a black shirt with the sleeves rolled up, revealing the muscles in his arms. His sharp eyes stared at Nadine without emotion. Too calm. Too confident. The man closed the door behind him and stepped closer. "You’re awake," he said, his voice deep and low, making the hairs on the back of Nadine's neck stand up. Nadine bit her lip. She wanted to scream, wanted to fight, wanted to say something that could free her from this situation. But for the first time, she felt completely helpless. "Why are you doing this?" her voice trembled, full of hatred that was all too evident. Adrian only gave a small smile, then knelt in front of her. His gaze didn’t change—cold, sharp, calculating. "I told you, Nadine," he whispered, his voice soft but piercing. "You’re mine. And I will never let you go." 2. ADRIAN – THE UNYIELDING SENSE OF OWNERSHIP Adrian looked at Nadine like a man who had just regained his most precious treasure. He had waited so long for this moment. Years ago, Nadine had left him. She tried to forget Adrian, tried to live a normal life as if their relationship had never happened. But that was a fatal mistake. Adrian Callway was not a man who could be left behind. When he was imprisoned, he never truly lost control. Everyone thought he was confined behind bars, but in reality, he still controlled everything from within. He still had power over his business, his subordinates… and of course, over Nadine. He always knew where Nadine went. Who she was with. What she did every day. And as soon as he realized Nadine had become too comfortable with her new life, he knew it was time to act. Now, he had returned Nadine to where she truly belonged—by his side. He raised his hand, allowing his fingers to gently touch Nadine's face. But Nadine slapped his touch away harshly, despite being tied up. "Don’t touch me!" Nadine spat, her eyes burning with rage. Adrian only chuckled softly, then stood up. "You’re still as stubborn as ever," he said quietly, walking around the chair where Nadine was tied. "You still think you can escape from me." He stopped behind her, then whispered right in her ear. "But you’re wrong, Nadine." Nadine gritted her teeth, her body tensing. "I’d rather die than go back to you," she said with contempt. Adrian sighed, then walked back to the front and knelt in front of her again. "Darling," he said, his voice softer now, but still carrying a threatening undertone. "No one can love you like I love you." Nadine shut her eyes tightly. She didn’t want to hear this. She wanted to escape. But deep inside, she knew. There was no way out. 3. LUCAS – A PAINFUL ACCEPTANCE Lucas sat on the sofa, his hands clenched at his sides. He couldn’t do anything. Nadine had been taken. And he… lost. A hand gently touched his shoulder. Queen Dior stood beside him, her face filled with guilt. "Lucas…" she whispered. Lucas looked at her, expressionless. "You betrayed your friend." Queen Dior lowered her head, tears starting to fall. "I had no choice," she said softly. "Adrian is too powerful. If I didn’t cooperate with him, he would have killed you." Lucas closed his eyes, letting out a long sigh. None of this should have happened. But now, it was too late. And deep inside, he began to realize something else. At the moment Nadine was trapped in Adrian's hands… At the moment he felt like he had lost something he thought was important… The only person who remained by his side, who truly cared for him, was Queen Dior. Lucas stared at the girl in silence. For the first time, he saw her not as Nadine's friend. But as someone who… maybe… could fill the emptiness in his heart. But before that could happen, there was one thing he had to do. He had to save Nadine. Even if it meant having to fight Adrian once again. 4. NADINE – THE DESTRUCTION DRAWING CLOSER Nadine stared at Adrian, her breath ragged. She wanted to be angry. Wanted to scream. Wanted to fight. But she knew… It was no use. She had already lost. Adrian had won. Tears welled up in her eyes, but she held them back. She wouldn’t give him the satisfaction of seeing her cry. Yet, deep in her heart, there was one thing she was sure of. If she wanted to survive, she had to surrender. Adrian smiled in satisfaction as he saw Nadine growing more helpless. With full dominance, he moved closer, his face just inches from hers, making the space between them feel suffocating. "You have no choice, Nadine," he said softly, though his voice held a threatening edge. "I’ve made my decision. You will stay with me, no matter what." Nadine tried to hold herself together. She tried to stare at him without showing weakness, but her tired heart and body began to give in to this bitter reality. "If I have to die to be free from you, I’ll do it," she said, her lips trembling. Adrian chuckled softly, his laugh filling Nadine with disgust. "You don’t understand," he said with a soothing tone. "You’re trapped, Nadine. All your escape routes have been closed. You will stay with me." But even as her heart shattered, there was one thing that still burned inside Nadine. A fire that would never go out. Even in the worst of circumstances, she would never let Adrian win completely.
