Harleigh's POV
It had been about a week since the accident, I was let out of the hospital on Tuesday. It was Sunday evening and i was sat in my room with a book, I was in my own little world when I heard things tapping agaisnt my window. Of course I knew who it was because it was 11pm and Lee always came at this time to annoy me, he would be out with god knows who doing something and then would come to my house. my parents had caught on with what was happening because 1 evening when I was by my window talkng to Lee my mum walked and found him sat on the branch outside my window. I had never felt so embarressed in my life,
I stood up and walked over to the window opening it. "Here every night like clockwork you are Lee. What do you want today? Did you get bored?" I laughed as he shook his head and climbed up the tree sitting on the branch, I was sitting on my windowsill staring at him. he had a stern face which wasnt like him. "I dont want to talk about it tonight, could we just sit here in silnce like we did at the hospital please?" He seemed sad but i shouldnt nose in his buisness. we sat in a comfortable silence. It was peaceful and calm. i glanced at him to notice he was looing at me. I felt my cheeks flush and gave him a smile.
"Why dont you fall to your knees with me? Why dont you beg for me to kiss you?" He looked puzzled, like he was trying to complete a puzzle and could not find the last piece. I swallowed hard, I have never seen him like this before it was cute but very weird. I was trying to get a straight in my head to give him but I assumed he could tell that I couldnt answer and he sighed which took me away from thoughts. His face was suddnely his normal smirk and cocky look in his eyes.
I couldnt believe what he just said I mean the badboy who can get any girl he wants in this place and he concerned about me? I was startled, I was jumbled for words. How does someone come up with a good enough excuse? Oh im sorry I just dont feel attracted to you or im sorry I find you attractive but im afraid to get feelings and be broken. I could not find the answer for him and my mind began panicking 'Harleigh pack it in, youve been queit for too long' Ahh what was happening, ive known for over a week or so and he did no seem that bothered by the way i was towards him.. oh god. I looked at him as I caught his eyes with mine, He let out a sigh which made me open my mouth to speak but nothing came out.
"Why you thinking so much Lala? Cat got you're tongue" He chuckled and leant towards the window not losing eye contact with me, my breath hitched in my throat like it was stuck, I have never felt this happen before and i wasnt sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing.. I do not want to find out. "I have no idea what you're on about Lee, why would I kiss you? youre my friend and Jessic's or whoever bad boy" I chuckled nervously as he narrowed his eyes at me and laughed. "You're so easy to annoy Harleigh. But its almost midnight so ill have to head back home. I'll pick you up in the morning for school if you are up." he smiled and started to climb down from the tree and landed on the floor, I shook my head as I closed my window and went back to bted to ed.
My thoughts start to wonder and Lee pops in my head. He was dreamy but i couldn't like him. I couldnt fall for him. you know for a fact by looking at him that hes the type to just have s*x and not commit, my face saddened as I closed my eyes and placed my head on the pillow. tomorrow is a new day and I will not let him get to me, not today anyway.

I was dressed and ready before Lee as i had been up since 5. yeah I know like 4-5 hours sleep but it was quite refreshing if im honest. I decided to walk over to his and wake him up, I dont think he will be expecting me to do that. I chuckle to myself and grab my bag walking out of the house to walk to his, he lived next but it still felt like such a long distance. as I walked up to his door his mum opened it, she must of been leaving for work but how come this early?
"Hi jane" I smiled and waved as she looked up towards me and waves back. "Harleigh sweetie, its so nice to see you, Lee was just about to come see you" She smiled sweetly like she has never had any issues in life, like life was is just a breeze. She embraced me into a warm hug and as I looked over her shoulder I saw Lee walking out of the with a shocked look on his face, I could tell that he has never seen his mum like this before but it was sweet. I didnt even realise that she had let go and was stood behind me.. I had kept eye contact with Lee the whole time, I shivered as I moved my eyes to the floor. Why was he so hypnotising to me that I felt extremely awkward all of a sudden.
"It was very nice to see you harleigh, when my son decides to be a normal person and invites you over we can have dinner" She smiled and shot a look to Lee which made him roll his eyes. I chuckled as I walked over to his car and climbed inside as he spoke to his mum and then got into the car himself. There was tension when he started and the ride was silent
