Harleighs's POV

It has been 12 hours since the incident at the skate park. I had gotten up for school and was currently waiting outside for Lucas. Turns out he is the year above me, not too bad hey? He arrived and smiled, getting out and walking around to open the door for me, aint he sweet? I climbed in and put my seatbelt on, I thought that Lucas would be getting into the car himself but when I looked outside he is stood with Lee and when I say he does not look impressed, I mean it.  I sat there looking at them, moving hands looking angry until Lee moves and looks at me, he shoots me and angry look and turned to walk to his car and Lucas came back and got in, oh he was angry and you could feel it.

"Are you ok? what was they about?" I looked at him and gave a slight smile and tilted my head. He looked at me and sighed giving me a smile. "He was just being a d**k because you're with me and not him, I tried explaining that you wanted me too and that we are friends but he aint listening and stormed off saying he will show me what is what" Lucas started the car and we drove to school, Im glad that I have at least someone to be with at school.

When we arrived Jess and Lee were with their normal group and called me over, I was not sure about them anymore so I stayed next to Lucas and mouthed sorry.. she did not seem impressed and Lee gave a look that could kill, mainly at Lucas but you know I still took it the wrong way, you can't blame me not after last night. Lucas walked to me to my locker, we joked and laughed most of the morning till first lesson but even then we were still joking around. When not having many friends you get so use to being alone and having no one to be there for you but even though I have known lucas for less than a day he is like a best friend I have never had.

"Hey, do you understand what the teacher is talking about?" Lucas leaned over and whispered as he had a puzzled look trying to look at my work. I couldnt help but chuckle, I shook my head and moved my work slightly. "We are talking about Mice and Men. The last scene with George and Lennie" I smiled and turned my head back to the teacher  for the rest of the lesson. The day went on as normal I guess, I stayed with Lucas, Jess and Lee gave me looks and tried to get me to hang out with them. We were coming to the end of last lesson and I had decided to sit at the back, of course Lucas was with me, Lee and Jess sat on the table next to us. I wasnt rude, they spoke so I responded where it was needed.

"You wanna hang out after school Harleigh?" Lucas looked at me with the biggest smile in the world, how could I refuse him? He was a god and had the best personality in the world. "Sure but where too?" I looked over as I was packing my things with a smile. He looked at me as if he was trying to put his answer into  words, like it was a puzzle and he had to collect all the pieces, it was cute I couldnt help but chuckle a little which got his attention. "We could watcha drive in movie? I can get snacks" He smiled and looked away packing his things up. Awe he is shy? That is unexpected.

"That sounds very nice Lucas, you can pick me up at 6 and any movie will work" I stood up patted his head leaving the class room and walking to my locker. I think I was stood there for about 30 seconds when a hand was infront of my face, I turned my head to be met with Lee staring at me in the face, he did not look happy. I rolled my eyes and moved his hand away from my locker and opened the door putting my books away. " Lee I thought I said leave me alone, I dont know how to make it any more clear for you?" I slammed my locker and turned towards him. "I dont want to talk to you, be near you or anything right now got it? Go have fun with your girlfriend" I glared at him and pushed past, I was hoping that I could get away but i was yanked by the wrist into Lee's chest and held tightly, he moved his head down and whispered into my ear.

"I dont like the way you are acting towards me. I swear if you dont start talking to me soon there is gonna be some issues so value the time you have with Lucas because I promise you that it could be the last." He stood back and turned his back to me and walked away... What does he mean it could be my last? Surely its the other way round right? Im the one that Lucas could spend his last time with? I quickly left the building and took my walk home, my music was loud and I was relaxing, you know as you do on a walk right?

Well the future is a funny thing sometimes, you think you know what you have planned and what is gonna happen but it kicks you in the ass and changes your plans. I was almost but it just did not seem right, there was a care following like it was watching my every move but when I turned around there seemed to be nothing there. I picked up my pace, I did not feel comfortable. I took my phone out and went to call Lee, I knew he would help me, right? I dialed his number and prayed that he would answer but as soon as I heard him pick up I was grabbed viciously and everything I was holding fell to the floor.

"HELL....P!!"
