I breathed in the fresh, humid Henosis air as I looked out on the jungle view. Theo had suggested we travel somewhere new for our honeymoon, but I told him Henosis was where I wanted to be.
It had nothing to do with being in a magical land. After citizens of Henosis and our country’s own magic-wielders had saved innocent lives and defended our lands, Alphas were quick to vote for the abolition of the Unlawful Magic Charter – even those without magic.
