Chapter 13Talya was feeling poorly, not to say sick at heart. Relaxing on the terrace, she was recalling all the events that had taken place in the past three years and had driven her to despair on quite a few occasions. The first of these recollections was the one of Richard Gillman’s murder. The fellow had been maltreated and even tortured during his stay in Sabodala. Everyone, including Talya, had put the reasons for this unwarranted treatment down to Rasheed’s sadism. Yet, there had always been a question to which Talya had found no answer.
