“Madam… you will want to hear what Alina just did” I sat up immediately with a light frown.
“What did she do?”
“She insisted on trimming the rare Bonsai you brought back some time ago and I think she has destroyed the whole plant” the butler explained.
“What!”
Just when I was looking for how to trap her, she delivered herself into my hand. The Japanese maple bonsai plant, a sixty-year-old specimen was something I bid for during one of those charity auctions, it cost more than it was supposed to due to the auction.
“Let me see what that lowlife did to my precious plant” I charged into the hallway, ready to unleash my anger on Alina.
Alina stood frozen in the hallway, her hands trembling as she clutched a dustpan filled with dark soil and broken ceramic shards.
