Chapter 38
Alex was stressing again. He could not figure out what was going on. Jane had fully recovered and was back at home with their little family but she seemed off. She would not talk about what happened with her. It was almost like she had shut down and was not able to get back to her old self.
“Alex! Earth to Alex!” Jane waved her hand in front of Alex’s face. She knew that he was stressing and it hurt her that he was. Jane was not sure exactly how to tell Alex what had happened to her. She knew as soon as she explained everything that he would go and do something foolish.
“I am fine love. I was just thinking. How about you come and sit in my lap and let me cuddle you for a little bit.” Alex gently pulled Jane onto his lap so that he could hold her.
