Chapter 34
The ride to the castle was going really fast. The black SUV was making good time on the road. Inside Alex and Jane were sitting in the front seat while the three children sat in the back.
“Are we there yet!” August asked in a whiney voice.
“Why do you have your feet on me?” Lily shouted at Rhett.
“I needed somewhere to put my feet.” Rhett shouted back.
“Aww the joys of having children that are already talking.” Jane gazed at Alex.
With a smile Alex picked up Jane’s hand and gave it a kiss. Then glancing in the review mirror Alex sent all three of the children a glare. This caused all three of the children to sit up and stop arguing.
“Is that better my dear?” Alex winked at Jane.
