"Ondina." His soothing deep voice filled the room. Her heart and stomach jumped at the same time. He was standing at the far left corner of his office. She hadn't noticed the door that sat there before. He began to walk in her direction. His eyes looked cool and relaxed. His face was just as beautiful as she remembered but there was a different look to him. One she had never seen before. He looked... ‘defeated?’
