Once those double doors opened, I knew that I was going to weep. For months, I had this image in my head of what she would look like on this day. There were so many different versions but never one like this.
She was breathtaking. It was as if God came down and dressed her himself. She was perfect and I couldn’t believe that that was gonna be my wife. I could feel the tears threatening my throat and when she came closer, I got a clear view of her. My tears could no longer stay confined.
Once her eyes locked with mine, it was as if everyone had disappeared. My heart felt full and all I wanted to do was run to her, but I knew I had to wait for her to get to me. Her mother walked alongside her with a genuine smile on her face, lightly patting Ondinas hand on her arm.
