Ondina gently pushed off his chest and sat up in his lap. She had never been comforted by anyone before. That was mainly because she made sure to break down alone and not in front of anyone. She had been dealing with these horrid flashes of memories for years. Camille wasn't even aware that she had them.
Timidly, she said, "Thank you." And she meant it. Being held the way that he held her, it took the pain away.
