The sounds of our shoes could be heard across the stairway as we headed to the hall where the party is gonna take place. Everywhere was so beautifully decorated with red and golden embroideries which made the house look spectacular.

"I heard the crazy bit*h and her boyfriend are also coming today" Mina quipped in."ooh do you mean Michael and Bella"inquired Tina."Who else would it be other than those two betrayers?"said Mina sarcastically. I could feel the venom in which they addressed them with. Well I could not blame them because I also felt the same way too.

Adam Bella was such a scheming liar,I regretted been friends with. She was like a snake in the green grass whom I would forever regret. Apollo Michael on the other hand so happened to be my boyfriend since elementary school, we were so attached to each other that it was so rare to find any one of us without the other. We had been dating for the past five years when he betrayed me.

I had never once imagined one of my most trusted friend and my perfect boyfriend would break my heart. I loved Michael with every living cell in me,but I was so wrong to do that, I had come back home from the shopping mall where I went to buy some dresses for my friend and I. We were suppose to go together but she complained of having menstrual cramps, and so I decided to save her the stress and went alone. I found him in a passionate make out with my best friend on my bed. I was frozen as the two moaned out in pleasure and when I confronted them,their words shattered me. It was as if my heart was been shredded into pieces. I cried for days unending,but it was no use crying over spilled milk. I accepted it as it was and moved on.

"Ooh yeah,I think we are forgetting something" Tina said revving me back from my train of thought."what's that supposed to mean? "I asked her." oh girl,why are you so lost nowadays?.our friendship band of course." Sh*t,I think I left it on my drawer,let me go get it. Will be back in a jiffy"I said hurrying back to my room. I found the band on my drawer on getting inside. It was a beautiful jade shaped bead with our initials carved on it. I hurriedly put it on,and went back down the hall yo meet my friends when I suddenly lost my footings. I instinctively closed my eyes expecting the impact of the fall but it wasn't happening. It was as if I was hanging on thin air.

I slowly opened my eyes to find a pair of deep chocolate eyes starring right at me. My breath seized to exist for that fraction of seconds. It was as if the owner of the eyes was looking through my soul.My eyes slowly trailed over his features. He had wavy jet black shoulder length hair which was combed neatly on his head,and few stray ones falling over his eyes,which gave him a more dangerous look. Had very straight pointed nose which has a sharp edge to it enough to cut through glass.My eyes slowly trailed downward to his full pale lips which made him tightened his grip on me in the process.

"OH GOD,how that lips is gonna taste......." "Hummm excuse me?" A guest said,jolting me from my fantasy.I straighten myself immediately with my cheeks suddenly turning red."Can you please help me find my way to the restroom? " she asked pleadingly. "Just around the corner to your right" I told her."thanks "she said walking off as fast as she could. The hall was suddenly rendered in an awkward silence.

" Hi,am Scott he introduce himself after few seconds of silence."Am Sharon "I told him." Thanks for ummm,yunno saving me awhile ago". I said stuttering."It was really.......

"There you are girl!" I was suddenly interrupted by Mina."What took you so long?, you have been gone for a long time now"She questioned worriedly. "Am so sorry,I didn't mean to take so long,I was caught up in a little bit of an accident, but thank goodness I wasn't injured". " You sure you're okay?" "Yes,sure am fine.All thanks to someone who came at the right time to save me". " Who was that?"."She asked.

I turned back to introduce Scott to Mina,but he was long since gone."he was standing right here few minutes ago"I tried to explain. "it's alright girl,let's just head back to the party.Everyone are expecting you already" She said walking me back.

I instinctively looked back to the spot where I was with Scott not too long ago.But it was as if he was never there in the first place.I was as if I had just imagined him there before. I decided to forget I ever met him and concentrate on my party.

It was my day,and I wasn't gonna ruin it for anything or anyone.It was time to enjoy the party.
