Chapter One

Stella's POV "Are we sure that allowing another pack into our territory is a good idea?" Papa (Luca) asks Dad (Nick). "We don't have a choice Luca. Their school burnt down and have no other options." Pa (Jayden) says calmly. "Hold that thought. Stella Aria, stop hiding behind the door eavesdropping and just come in." Momma says nonchalantly. "Sorry. I just wanted to come see if Papa, dad and Pa wanted to go for a run with me." I say with a pout, knowing it will get me out of trouble immediately. I watch as my papa's eyes light up at my words, along with Dad and Pa's and they smile sweetly at me. "Awe Princess! We can't right now, but now that your here why don't you tell us your thoughts on this discussion. You're the one who will have to interact with these mutts." Dad tells me, a slight grunt when he says the word mutts. “Why must they be mutts?” Mom asked with a twinkle in her eye, I could sense the teasing in her tone. “Anyone who is new around our Princess is considered a mutt.” Dad spat out irritably, mom and I couldn’t help the giggles that escaped. See what I mean…overprotective. “Well, if we’re their only choice I don’t see what harm could come of it. They’re a good pack, and don’t we have an alliance with them?” I question sweetly. “Yes baby, we do. Which is what I have been trying to explain to these two for the last hour.” Pa states with a huff. “Fine, they can come to our school. But they will be under strict supervision. If any of them bother my Princess even once their out!” Papa growled out frustratedly. “Who’s bothering Stella?” Theo asked popping his head into the office with a frown on his face. “No one love. The Bloodmoon Pack will be attending your school for the rest of the year starting tomorrow, and Papa is just being his usual overprotective self.” Momma cooed at my frowning brother. “I’m stating facts Princess, if anyone messes with my pup…all of our pups they’re out.” Papa said to my mom with a face that said he was NOT messing around.   Before I came into Papa’s life, he used to be the calm and rational one. The most laid back of the three of my mom’s mates. After I was born his protective side multiplied tenfold and he has been overly protective and possessive ever since. Momma and I can’t even go to the mall without an escort of ten warriors.   “Papa I’ve heard some stories about their future Alpha. He preys on innocent girls, Stella won’t be leaving any of our sides while he’s attending our school.” This time, Leo spoke. I huffed out in annoyance. I hated when they all acted like I was some fragile piece of glass incapable of protecting myself. My mom was looking at me with a glint in her eyes at the mention of this future Alpha and I couldn’t quite understand it.   ‘What? What do you know momma?’ I asked her via mind-link. ‘You’ll find out soon enough my angel. You know I can’t tell you everything.’ She said with a smile in her voice.   Ughh I hated when she did that. She would always know something that was about to happen and never share it with us. Saying how it was something we were meant to figure out on our own. It was frustrating, but it was never anything that was a danger to us. I knew for a fact that if she saw something that would put our lives in danger, she would do anything to help protect us, so I couldn’t worry too much. But still, I wanted to know what she knew. What future was she hiding from us?   Malakai’s POV I’m future Alpha of Bloodmoon Pack, Malakai Russo or Kai. I’ll be 18 in a few days, which means I’ll finally be able to find my mate. While my wolf yearns for her, I’m nervous to find her. While it may be shocking, I waited for my mate. I’ve come close to giving into the hormonal urges and f*****g one of the many she-sluts who throw themselves at me, but I never did. Everyone assumes I have f****d most of the girls in our pack, but that is just not true. My mother always told me the best thing I can do is wait for the person who was specifically made for me. And I did just that. The reason I’m nervous about finding her is because I don’t want her to believe the rumors and make assumptions about me that aren’t true. Well, anyways today my pack members and I started school at the New Red Moon Pack’s high school. Unfortunately, some faulty wiring caused our school to burn to the ground, it was either that or a prank gone wrong by my friends and me. But we’re sticking with the faulty wiring story. I’m currently regretting the prank. Now we have to attend school with the stuck-up members of New Red Moon. f**k my life.   While their pack is impressive, and the stories about The Alpha are commendable, I don’t look forward to attending school with four other future Alpha’s. That seems like a disaster in the making. But my father made it clear that while on their pack territory I reign in my Alpha mode. I am to be respectful and abide by their rules. Should be easy enough. Can you feel the sarcasm? f**k. After getting ready I jump into my car, waiting for my future Beta and Gamma. Both of whom happen to be my best friends. My future Beta, Levi turns 18 on the same day as me. We have been best friends since the day we came into this world. Then you have Wyatt, my future Gamma, who turns 18 in a month. These two guys have my back no matter what, as I do them. They’re ride or die. As that thought crosses my mind the passage door and back door to my car open revealing my best friends.   “Should we be nervous Dude?” Levi asks me nerves clear in his tone. “No, if we just keep our heads down, we should be fine.” I say with a shrug. That’s what my father said at least. “What if they start s**t with us? Do we not defend ourselves?” Wyatt asks shocked. “If they start s**t, you end it, and we’ll explain things later.” I say firmly. No way in hell I’ll let any of those stuck-up brats disrespect us. “Sounds like a plan boss man.” Wyatt says with a grin. “That doesn’t mean for you to start s**t though!” I state with no room for argument. “Understood.” Both Wyatt and Levi said. “Well boys, we’re here.” I say with a grunt. “Damn. It’s nicer than I thought.” Levi said in awe. He wasn’t wrong. The campus was huge, and the building looked brand new. It looked like we were on a college campus and not at a high school. I was impressed, can’t say I’m shocked. We were in the New Red Moon pack lands. The strongest, richest and largest packs in the world. “Let’s get inside. I see our members already going in.” With that said I exit my car and sling my backpack on my shoulders. With a deep breath I head into the school of another pack. This should be fun. Stella’s POV “Guys will you stop hovering!” I whisper yell to my brothers, Noah and Grey. Lucky for me Elliot and Eric were Juniors and not in the Senior building. Otherwise, instead of being surrounded by six buff guys, it would be eight. They were being ridiculous. Bloodmoon pack members were filling into the school and anytime one of them would look in my direction the six of them would growl.   “Angel, you know we can’t do that.” Leo said in an apologetic tone, even though I knew he wasn’t even the least bit sorry.   “I can take care of myself!” I growl out to them causing everyone in the hallway to stop dead in their tracks and look straight at me. Great. “Move along. Nothing to see here.” I say with a smile and a wave.   I push my way through the six giants and head towards the office. The principal called this morning asking to see me before first period. I stopped when I heard the thundering of footsteps following me.   “What are you guys doing?” I ask through gritted teeth. “Nowhere alone Stella.” Bash said sternly. “Ugh, fine. But that doesn’t mean all six of you need to come. Only two.” I whine giving in, knowing there was no way to shake them. Alpha’s orders. “Bash and I will go with her. The rest of you head to first period and save seats.” Leo ordered. The others nodded in agreement and headed towards are first period lecture hall. “Why’d the Principal want to see you anyways angel?” Leo asked. “Honestly I have no idea.” I answer honestly, still trying to figure out the reasoning myself.   As I walk through the doors, still looking at Leo I walk straight into a wall. I don’t remember a wall being in front of the door.   “Ouch!” I yelped. My first mistake. “Angel. Be careful.” Leo chastised, at the same time someone growled, “Watch where you’re going.” Strange walls first mistake. “Sorry” I whispered looking up at the wall I just hit. I was getting lost in the gorgeous specimen in front of me when two wall shaking growls filled the office. f**k my brothers were here. “She didn’t mean to hit you. You don’t have to be a d**k!” Bash growled to the handsome stranger. “It’s not like it f*****g hurt you.” Leo growled also. s**t. “Guys, it’s fine. It was my fault.” I cooed at them, rubbing their shoulders and pushing all my calm aura towards them that I could. “No angel. He could have been nicer about it and definitely could have gone without the growl.” Bash said sweetly to me, pulling me into his arms.   I looked back at the handsome stranger and found him staring intently at me. I could see anger in his eyes and he kept eyeing Bash’s hands that were wrapped around me. It seemed Leo noticed him staring as well and did not appreciate it.   “Stop looking at her.” He growled. “Who are you anyways?” This seemed to snap broody stranger back into reality, that and the two boys who seemed to be holding him back.   “I’m future Alpha Malakai of Bloodmoon. This is my Beta, Levi and Gamma, Wyatt.” He said through gritted teeth, eyes still trained on Bash’s arms. “And you are?” He asked finally looking at Leo.   “Future Alpha Leonardo, and my twin brother Sebastian.” Leo said with a low growl.   “And who is she?” He asked pointing at me, yet again earning him two growls. Malakai’s second mistake.   “She’s of no concern to you. Any of you.” Bash gritted out, earning a sigh from me. I didn’t realize how loudly I had sighed, but soon realized my second mistake when five pair of eyes were on me. I wiggled out of Bash’s arms, which only caused him to tighten them. “Angel, stop.” He warned making me whimper, knowing it would work, because he’d think he was hurting me.   “Bash, let me go. I need to go see the principal. You guys know how much I hate being late. And all of this testosterone bullshit is plain annoying and quite frankly boring.” I say sternly, showing my frustration.   “Ms. Rossi? Stella Rossi?” The principal called out.   “Here!” I yelped out, freeing myself from Bash’s clutches. I saw understanding cross Malakai’s eyes.   “Sister, not your mate.” I heard him say, making me stop in my tracks.   Turning to him I said, “You thought they were my mates? We look alike. And we’re not even 18.”   “Princess, go do what you came here to do. Don’t talk to strangers.” Bash grounded out, with a huff I walked away and towards the principal’s office.
