Her Revenge and Saviour

CHAPTER TEN

ADIAN POV

I arrived late or really early in the night depending on the way you look at it, at the Shadow Lake pack. We had planned to leave earlier but when we got to the border we stumbled across a small group of wolves.   We got out of our car and discovered that they were survivors of the Lake Mist Pack and among them was Emery, my sisters’ mate.

After hearing their story, it puts me in a difficult position, the only way out of this marriage contract is if I find my destined mate before I say I do. After discovering what Shadow Lake has done, how they defiled a pack for taking action against a monster I do not want to marry Amanda.  I need to find a way out of his arrangement, hell I might even convince someone in their pack to pretend to be my mate to get out of this.

Driving along the road to the main house we pass a barn, I smell blood, tears, c*m, and a scent I cannot quite describe but I have to find. I order Leo to stop the car, he pulls over with no hesitation and cuts the engine. As I open the car door the scent becomes even more powerful and I hear my wolf Chaol say “mate.”

I climb out of the car quicker than I thought possible ignoring Leo's questions, he gets out and follows me to the barn. I see the door is open and walk straight in, I realise that this is where they must keep and hold any rogues caught or pack members who require questioning. I follow the scent to the cello at the end where I hear muffled sobs and male laughter. I fly into a rage thinking that they are beating my mate but what I discover is so much worse.

My mate is bound and gagged, pinned to the floor by two boys while a third is f*****g her roughly. I hear them talk about how the b***h deserves it how they will turn her into the pack bicycle and let all the other unmated and any willing mated males take turns. He reached his climax as I ripped him off her and threw him against the bars. His friends abandoned my mate in their efforts to stop me from killing their leader. Leo came running and saw me ready to kill all three when he managed to break through to me.

“Aidan, these are the children of the Alpha, Beta, and Gamma. You can’t kill them.” He speaks.

“they were r****g my Mate” I scream.

I watch as all colour fades from their faces and suddenly the barn is full of wolves, a big brown wolf walks up to me I realise that due to this wolf’s size it must be the Alpha, Derrick he shifts. He calmly pulls on a pair of shorts before demanding an explanation as to what is going on and why I did not head straight to the house.

“One I am an Alpha in my own right and I do not answer to you, but I would get these three the hell away from me before I kill them for touching her.” I declare, fighting to stay in control of my wolf and anger.

“well, you see she’s ours, and as future alpha, my son is entitled to certain entertainments.” He begins.

“Not with my Mate,” I growl back

I see him lose a bit of colour before he instructs the boys back to the packhouse and tells all other members to stand down. I demand for the pack doctor to be bought to the cells immediately and while met with some resistance my demands are met.

I took off my jacket and placed it over my mate trying to offer her some sort of protection, knowing that deep down it will never be enough. The pack doctor arrives and introduces himself. He looks at my mate and shakes his head with obvious sadness.
