A week passed since the meeting, and everyone was slowly starting to adjust again. This last week I stayed home with Zain instead of going to school, but this was more because we were not allowed. Zain had called the principal, telling him that he was married to me. That we had run off to have a honeymoon and he has no intention of losing his job or hiding the fact that we’re married from the school. Honestly…I was surprised at the audacity. How he just tells him what he’s going to do without a care of what he’ll say. If the principal wants to fire him he will, there’s nothing Zain can do about it since he’s a human.
