After the meeting, Alice practically ran out of the conference room, but before she could leave Adaline stood up, holding out her hand to stop her. “Alice, I hope it’s alright if I borrow your Elites. My Elites, Brandos and Caileen, are very busy today, and Tate and I need help with a few things in the new baby room. I know you have to walk around today and inspect the buildings for your Luna and Alpha, but could I assign one of my Elites to walk with you?” The woman I believed to be Renee rolled her eyes, shoving past Alice, and walking out the door.
