Axel Pov The alarm beeping loudly on my phone woke me up and I groaned, stretching under my blanket as far as I could to pop my joints. I turned off the alarm and smiled at the picture of Colette that I had set as my lock screen picture. It was a few months old, but it was one of my favorite pictures. We often met up at the crooked tree behind her packhouse, and a few times we camped there for a weekend away.
