IS IT HOT IN HERE, OR IT JUST ME?

"So, you're telling me that, to this day, you're still single?" The first question we both asked each other. I was quite surprised that he said he was still single to this day...and he was like in his middle of thirty this year! Guess that explain his sexy daddy's body. But, when he knew that I was single, that was actually surprised him, which made me surprised when he was shocked about it. I looked confused, so I decided to ask him. "Why are surprised when I told you that, I was still single?" He took a sip of his hot black Americano and looked back to me and smiled. I noticed he had that dimples on his left side of the cheek. I took the chance to sneak peek at his face while he was looking at the windows. Maybe, he wanted to think of the way to tell me why he surprised that I am single. He really looks cute, in that sexy body! At the moment he looked back, I quickly glanced to my cup of coffee again. "Well, you know, you seem like a cute, decent guy. So, probably, many girls want to be your girlfriend, or maybe, you already got asked from any girls once, right?" "guys." I corrected him about my preferences in my partner. He looked surprised but in a natural way. Like, not with the eyes that were about to judge, or any face's mimics that shows him disgust in me. "Oh, I see." He replied in short, and after that, he took a sip of his Americano, once again. I thought he was not in the mood to continue when I told him that I was into guys, but I swear, I could see him smile before he took the sip. "So, you didn't found any lucky guy yet, correct?" He continued to ask again, which kind of surprises me, because, usually, people would excuse themselves and leave when I told them I liked guys. "Haha! I wouldn't consider that guy to be lucky, as I don't have anything much to offer to him. So, likely, he will be called an unfortunate guy, if he decided to date me. Unlike you, the girl that date you might consider herself lucky to date you." He smiled, bashfully while averting my gazes. I looked puzzled but still stared at him, waiting for his reply. "And who said it was a girl?" With that short sentence, he drank his coffee back, leaving me bewildered. As I was about to ask more, he looked at his watch. "Oh, it was a quite long break we had. Let's go back. Our teacher, or my cousin, might worry sick about us." He quickly stood up and threw away his coffee cup on the nearest dustbin, and walked straight to the exit. Before he left, he turned around to find out that I was still in my seat, not moving an inch, after he said that. "You're coming?" Realizing that I still looked like a dumb guy, with a confused expression, I quickly grasp to the reality and stood up, clumsily.  "S-sorry. Coming!" After that talk in the cafe, neither of us tried to start a chat, preferably, we were walking, side to side, in awkward silence. I kicked a few rocks in my way, onto his path, to make him noticed that I was still beside him. Sadly, he did not even look on the ground to see what happened. Feeling defeated, I sighed softly, as I did not want him to hear that I was feeling down. "Something wrong?" Well, damn.  He does have a sharp ear. "Uhh, uhh, nothing. Don't mind me." I tried to look cool in front of him, but deep down inside, I needed to ask something. He smiled and kept moving forward. I waited for him to walk a certain distance, then I sighed again. Maybe he was just teasing about it. After that, I cleared my mind about his reply earlier in the cafe and started to act natural around him. Just like when we do before we went to the cafe. I followed him, but this time, I walked behind him because, since we both did not want to talk, so what is the point to walk side by side with him. I kept walking behind him, with my head down, watching the ground. "Oof!" Suddenly, I had to stop, as Paul too stopped, which made me bump his back.  It felt warm. Paul turned around after he felt my head on his back. He then touched my forehead to see if I had a bump on my head. I pouted, making a face that said it was not that hard. "Oh, sorry, my back can become solid if it wanted, but hey, check that out!" Paul pointed out to the big tree, near the fountain that I crossed earlier this morning. I did not notice it, though. And I did not notice that it had a hidden park in this area! This is really an only rich people territory. "I didn't know they had a park here." I asked though it was pretty obvious. I just wanted to make sure that Paul did not know it either, but of course... "Oh, yeah, actually, someone in my company suggested for us to make a park in our area here. Need to attract people somehow." He knew. Eh, wait... 'Our'? "By 'our' is that mean that your associate bought this whole area?" He rubbed his back neck, shyly, while tried to reply naturally. "Well, not our, but personally, it just me. I wanted to make my day better during my workdays. Like, if I had problems in my office, I can take a walk in the park nearby, to destress myself." He replied with a shy smile in his face, but I practically had my jaw dropped. How expensive is this guy?! Then, he looked at me, with his earnest looks in his eyes. "Would you...like to come with me? To have a walk?" He looked calm to ask me, but I can sense that he gathered his courage to ask me. Why does he need to be shy of? "Sure. You don't have to ask so formally. We're friends, right? I mean not friends, that friends yet, but classmates friends." He chuckled quietly, and then I asked him to lead the way. He brought me there, to the thick-bushes-looking fence and we walked down it. It was almost felt like we were going to another botanical garden, with a fancy touch. "Do you hire a garden's decorator to decorate for all of this? Cause this place looks pretty...and serenity." He looked humble for a moment, but after that, he answered it, proudly. "Actually, I did it by myself. I mean, the design, of course. I know, I had the strength, but if I want to arrange and placing things alone, it can be a hard job." Then he laughed awkwardly and walked ahead. Rich, sexy, creative...what else did this guy can have? I do hope he is creative in bed too. "Wow, what more can this hot, muscular, sexy president of the company, who also a hotel's owner can do?" I teased him with compliments, as I nudged him with my elbow. He did not reply immediately, somewhat, he pointed to the big tree, located at the centre of the park. "If you want to know more, you have to beat me in the race to the big tree." After he said that, he swiftly ran towards the tree, leaving me behind bewildered. "Hey! Not fair!" I tried to chase him, but he was too fast. Though in that muscular body, he actually can sprint.  I did not want to give up early, so I focused my mind, to run even faster as my head was already tilted to the sky. Somehow, the trick worked, when I noticed his figure was beside me, all the way behind me. I was running too fast, that I did not have much force to stop myself when I have almost reached the tree. "Wow!" I tried to regain balance from the force of my body, but sadly, I still bump into the hard trunk of the tree, but it was not that bad. Paul arrived late from me that he had enough time to slow down himself and stood only a few inches from me. "I didn't know you were an athlete too!" He laughed as he said that, while I still half-hugged the tree, from the impact of my running. I turned around as my back leaning on the tree while my hands crossed on each other. "Enough...huh, talking, puff, so what are other things can you do?" I attempted to catch my breath while demanded answers from Paul. Sooner, he chuckled. And started to move closer to me! "Um, Paul?" He pinned me, with both of his hands were put on the tree's trunk, refrain me from escape. "You said you wanted to know more about me, right?" I gulped.  Suddenly, he was too close. Paul's head was moving closer to mine, which to the extend, I can feel his breath when he breathed. "You look cute, aren't you?" Paul said, with his soothing tone. He is not drunk, right? From his caffeine? "Haha, I don't know about that, but you're cuter than me." I tried to joke around, to see if he was just playing with me, or really serious here. He made a tiny laugh. "I wonder, why are you still single? Could it be, you didn't found the one, or...are you too picky?" He put his right hand under my chin and tilted it upwards, to make my face in the same direction as his. My knees started to shake, and my hands were shaken relentlessly. Does he want to do it here? Should I risk it all? I did not know what to do since he was the alpha one. Or at least he looked like one. Suddenly, he chuckled. "Are you that scared when someone cornered you like this?" He then moved backwards and extended his hand to help me got up. Aww, well that suck. I tried to sound brave and natural, though I was this close to risk it all! "No way! You have to do better than that to make me kneel for you-" His eyes went wide for a minute. "I mean, kneeling for your mercy, as I will reward you with your crown. Haha." I hope he did not listen to that! He smirked. "Oh, I see. Perhaps, if I want to do so, it will be in my secret dungeon." He gave me the most cunning look, which made me startled a little, but eventually, he laughed it out. I took his hand and then we both returned back to the class.  Unfortunately, the class was already ended. Paul rubbed his head, as it was his fault, but I comforted him, saying I was already done with my art anyway. "Now, where should I put this? My apartment isn't that big, though." I looked at my art and tried to imagine where should I hang my painting. Paul walked behind me and stared at it too. "How about, I buy it from you?" He asked. I shook my head and smiled. "Nah, it wasn't that worth to sell." He smirked. "But it worth it for me. Here." He took out something from his pocket and handed it to me. It was his business card. "Business card? I'm not going to your company, remember?" I joked about it, and he laughed too. "This isn't just any number, this is my personal number. Give me a call if you wanted to see your art again, or if you want to do something else." He slipped it on my hand, while I looked confused, and he left...just like that! To be continued~
