Chapter 5: Helen

Helen

I really didn't come back because of my dad.I came back to see Jennyln and meet someone.My dad is dying so we decided to move back here so he could be buried with his family. I also hated it in france.Everyone was mean there.

Anyway it's time to get ready to meet them.I pull on a cute red dress with lots of fake jewels on it.I look at the clock.

"Crap I'm might be late.I will have to run." I exclaim.

I run to the restaurant.Then I see him.

"Sorry I am late." I say apologizing.

Hector says "It's ok,I was a bit late myself."

Helen exclaims:" You look dashing." I blush.

Hector says: "well I wanted to look good since you said you had something you wanted to tell me."

Helen says: "yes I do but it can wait till after we order."

Hector says "That is fine with me."

The waiter comes and gives us our menus.I look down and see this dish that includes pretzels in it.I decide I will order it and the baked potatoes and some soup.the waiter comes back.

"Have you decided what you want to order?" he asks.

Hector replies:"yes I have."

I say "So have I."

The waiter asks "what is your order sir?"

Hector says " I will have the clam chowder,gumbo and some soup."

The waiter writes it down then I tell him my order.The waiter leaves to go tell the kitchen our orders.

"Your food sounds delicious." I say.

Hector says "so does yours If you want some of mine, we can share."

I reply"the same goes for you."

Hector says "so are you going to tell me yet?"

I say "Fine I will tell you.I am in love with you.Do you feel the same way?"

Hector says in shock "Yes I been in love with you, ever since we meet in 4th grade.I thought you didn't feel the same, so I hid how I felt."

Helen replies " I thought you didn't like me this way so I was afraid to tell you."

Hector says "Well I do feel the same.Do you want to be my girlfriend?"

Helen answers " Of course I do."

Hector says " do you want to tell anyone yet or do you want to keep it a secret?"

Helen replies "I will have to tell my best friend, but that is the only person I will tell."

Hector says "ok I don't have anyone I want to tell.Oh yeah I transfer to your school tomorrow."

Helen exclaims "then we can tell her together although her friend might be with her."

Hector ask "friend?who do you mean?"

Helen says "His name was Zander or something."

Hector thinks Zander I knew a Zander once I wonder if it's the same one. Hector says "I can't wait to meet them then."

They eat then Hector walks me home.We hesitate at the front door not sure what to do.I decided to kiss him on the cheek as a goodnight.He waves goodbye then starts walking home blushing.I go in the house and climb into bed and fall asleep happily.
