RTS: Chapter 7

"not bad..." nakangising sabi ni princess merea habang malamig na nakatingin sa nakangisi ding si athena.

those shadow guards that surrounds them felt shiver down to their spine but at the same time they felt weird listening to their conversation.

just imagine-a three year old kid is talking to an old people like they are in the same level but that's not it! two kids!-is talking like they are a grown up! just how unlikely it is?

"i'm glad to know..." athena answered in a smug face.

ngumiti naman si merea pero hindi umabot sa mga mata nito ang ngiti-instead of showing a sweet smile, merea showed a dangerous smile.

natigilan naman si athena pero agad ding ngumisi—thinking that she manage to get in merea's nerve. thinking about it-athena felt relieved and happy because of it. finally-eh?

unti-unting nawala ang ngisi sa labi nito at nanlalaking tiningnan nya si princess merea na may misterysong ngiting nakaguhit sa labi neto. pero agad ding nawala iyon but she can't ignore it! she try to compose her composure again and hide her emotions. especially when her eyes change color! ang mga mata neto! her eyes turns black! like literally....wala nang natirang puti sa mga mata nito.

"so you've choose the same path i did...hmm?" ngumisi ito.

kahit kinakabahan athena manage to smile and her red eyes glow. she know this person—hindi sya pwedeng mapakampantem

"of course, we're best friend since i can't remember. it is just normal if i choose the same path as my beast-opps i mean best friend." ngumiti ito nang matamis na sinuklian naman ni merea ng isa ding matamis na ngiti.

ngunit napakunot ang noo ng mga shadow guards nang unti-unti nilang naramdaman ang pagsikip ng kanilang dibdib at ang unti unting pagkawala ng hangin sa paligid.

napahawak sila sa kanilang mga dibdib at nanghihinang napaluhod. habang ang dalawang bata naman ay parang wala lang at patuloy parin sa pag ngiti sa isa't-isa. nakawala na din mula sa pag kakahawak ng dalawang shadow guard si athena.

"hows life been treating you my dear best friend?" athena said with her sweet smile but you can still pin point the anger and hatred she keeps within her heart.

ngumiti naman si merea na parang natural lang at hindi pinansin ang galit at pagkamuhi sa boses ng matalalik na kaibigan. "very interesting, and quiet entertaining." she said with satisfied smile on her lips and then she looked at athena-her emotion suddenly turned grim and gloomy. "...but ruining you is much more entertaining." then she laugh mockingly.

napatiim bagang naman si athena at puno nang pagkasuklam na tiningnan ang dating matalik na kaibigan. "you are more cruel than i thought you we're."napailing netong wika ngunit parang wala lang na nagkibit balikat si merea.

"oh sweet heart... cruel is understatement to describe how amazing i am." merea said with proudness in her voice.

matalim na tiningnan ni athena si merea. "you don't deserve to live!"

ngunit gaya kanina ay tumawa lang ito nang uuyam.

athena on the other-hardly griping herself not to lose her cool. no! she can't break down in front of her. not her-she can only give her more satisfaction if ever she will breakdown.

she is no longer weak like in her past life! she is more stronger now and she is also cruel! she should be! she doesn't want to be in her shadow again and she doesn't want to be useless anymore!

she is cruel! she even massacred her own people and her family! yes she is cruel and strong now-or that's what she thought. unti-unti ay naramdaman nya ang paghihina ng kanyang tuhod at ang pagtulo nang luha sa mga mata nya.

even she tried hard to be like her best friend, she can't. she is born with golden heart and she is raised as the perfect saint. but when she meet alora (past life name of merea) her perspective in life change-she thought being good with everyone is all she needs to live and she just want to stay what her parents thought her to be.

alora is a trouble maker in her past life-but she is more than just a trouble maker because she is the goddess of life and creation. she so powerful to the point everything is a mess back then whenever she is around. but she had limitations-she knows when to stop kaya kahit gaano pa ito ka trouble maker ay hindi parin ito napapaalis sa olympos (a place where demigods, god's, and goddesses live)

athena thought that having a golden heart and a perfect saint as title is the greatest thing she can achieve while she live but that change when she made friends with alora. they became best of friends to the point they we're connected like twin whatever they do-that's what she thought. dahil illusion lang pala ang lahat nang iyon-alora never see her as twinsis or sister not even friends.

puro illusion at pagpapangap lang ang lahat nang iyon dahil ang tanging habol lang nito sakanya ay ang kanyang fiance. yes! she just used athena to be her bridge to her fiance.

hindi man sila ni athena at zeus naging mag fiance dahil sa relasyon nila at tanging arrange marriage lang ang nangyari. athena still felt betrayed-well who wouldn't?

she can ask her (athena) to lend her fiance to her (alora) if she really wants to be married with zues. athena don't mind at all as long as her best friend is happy then she can make a way to let what she wants to happen. even she will get hurt on the process-she can ignore what she feels for her best friend

(lagyan ko nang name medyo nakakalito. lol)

pero hindi ganun ang nangyari! alora just used her and didn't see her as her friend at all! she is just a bridge for alora to her victory! but what's more worst? a twist happened.

alora don't love zues at all-her plan of getting zeus is not because she is inlove with him! but because alora knew how much athena loves zues!

alora's plan is to destroy and ruin her.

"done reminiscing, my dear?" nakangising tanong ni merea.

napakipikit nang mariin si athena para pigilin ang pag buhos nang emosyon nya. pero napangiti nalang sya nang mapait nang hindi parin nya napapatigil sa pagluha ang mga mata nya at patuloy parin ang mga ito sa pagtulo na parang waterfalls.

athena died in her last life due to overwhelming depression that she can't handle anymore so she killed herself and enter to the reincarnation cycle. she trained hard for the next hundred years for this day but still no use. if athena become cruel and strong-alora became more than that. she can't even tricked her anymore like they used to each other-to have their fun.

athena smiled bitterly-maybe she can't restore their relationship anymore-if there is.

napabuntong hininga sya bago nag angat nang tingin at pangkatitigan ang mukha nang tinuring nyang matalik na kaibigan. gusto nya sanang makipag ayos dito at ipagpatuloy ang kanilang pag kakaibigan pero mukhang malabo.

willing naman sana syang kalimutan ang ginawa nito noon at mag simula sila ulit pero mukhang hindi na iton mangyayari. she bowed her head again and give her courtesy bago nag angat nang tingin at ngumiti sa kay merea-a genuine smile "wish you the best on your journey, best friend." sabi neto bago nag laho.
