In the evening, we had a lot to talk about. The experience on our first day in South Korea was out of this world. We agreed that, indeed, it was a good choice. The presence of Uncle Chan Yeol made it more exciting. He graced our occasion with the numerous stories he entertained us with. We were a family from different backgrounds but staying in South Korea made it look like we were coming from one. Amongst us are lazy, hardworking, cheeky, and all other undesirable behaviors. John Paul suggested that we devise a plan for doing chores in the apartment. Sandra Roberts is known to be the hardest worker. She has always ensured everything is in order and never tires of making it perfect. She is also a good cook, and we love her meals. Hailey Beryl, too, is good at cooking, while Bridget Vergara is the opposite of us. She prefers telling stories to work; whenever a task is assigned; Bridget will most likely forget to complete it. She is a foodie and, most of the time prefers buying snacks to cooking healthy meals. All the time, you will find Bridget eating something. The stay in South Korea meant that we all had to do something. The house chores include doing laundry, washing utensils, cleaning the house, and doing any other related work. We were obliged to perform them.

“We created a duty roaster that must be abode.” John Paul laments. The first day of duty was great; everyone enjoyed the services, but Bridget Vergara and Dhruv Khan seemed to have a problem. Either the two don’t know how to prepare meals or something else. “Why did you pair me with this lazy girl?” Dhruv Khan laments. It had been almost four hours since the two entered the kitchen, yet dinner hadn’t been prepared. It is nearly midnight, but the food isn’t ready. The rest of their friends are in the living room, enjoying a match that John Paul urges the rest to watch. Despite the boys' trying to explain how the game is ongoing, they seem not to be grasping anything. Sandra, Hailey, Amber, and Laura Martins feel weird about watching football. “I can’t stop yawning.” Jun Suravi complains. “I am tired and hungry,” Jun adds as he stands up to check on their friends in the kitchen. “What is Bridget and Dhruv cooking?” Della complains. “I think they must be preparing stones!” Henry replied as the rest broke into laughter. They all stand up and match the kitchen. They can’t stand to stay for any moment because they are damn hungry.

When they got close to the kitchen, they heard the two arguing. Sandra gets agitated and opens the door forcefully, almost breaking it apart. “Wait, what is keeping you long?” Sandra roars. Shockingly, the two have only managed to clean the utensils. The food hasn’t been cooked. Dhruv Khan was by the kitchen sink trying to arrange the silverware on the rack. On the hand, Bridget Vergara is standing by the window, admiring the reflection of the light shining through the window. In her mouth, she is biting raw carrots. The state that the rest find the two angers them. “You know what!” Sandra exclaims. “Just leave this minute.” She orders them. “Count yourself out of this meal,” Sandra informs them angrily. While preparing the meal, something strange happens in the kitchen. Sandra Roberts screams in fear. When her friends rush to check on her, Sandra accidentally breaks the glasses and plates as she points to a shadow claiming to have seen a ghost. Anxiety builds in them; it becomes hard to know whether it is accurate or hallucinations. They then agree to camp in the kitchen as she prepares the meal. Dhruv Khan and Bridget Vergara remain locked in the room, feeling guilty. Sandra grabs a pan, measures the required amount of water, and begins to boil rice. Then she places a separate pan on the second banner of the cooker and fries the beef stew. Within fifty minutes, the food is ready. What shocks the rest is how Sandra denies Bridget and Dhruv dinner. She says that should serve as a punishment. They two watch the rest as they enjoy the sumptuous meal. They swear never to make such a mistake again and promise to make it up for the rest of the day.

The following day, the troop could not wake up early as agreed. The previous night they sleep late because of a problem between Bridget and Dhruv Khan. Uncle Chan is shocked that by 10: am, Amber Ray and her friends are still asleep. He wasn’t happy about it. He reminds them how he loves people who are responsible. The same morning, Della Roberts quickly notices that Uncle Chan didn’t come with the car. He gets curious and questions. Della was scared that he had come to surrender his duties. Luckily, that wasn’t the case. “Uncle Chan Yeol, aren’t we going out today?” Della questions stretching his neck to look around. “What are you trying to imply?” Uncle Chan responds. “I haven’t seen your car today,” Della claims as his friends struggle to confirm the allegation. “Oh yeah, you are such a brilliant boy.” Uncle Chan praises Della. “It had some mechanical challenges this morning.” Uncle Chan informs the troop who are preparing to leave. “So what are we going to do today?” Jun Suravi interjects disappointedly. “We shall use the train.” Uncle Chan tells them. They were happy to experience a different mode of transport in the new country. The haunted house isn't for the faint of heart, but it seems like an excellent way to spend the day. They are daring enough to visit the haunted house. According to urban legend, the spirits of Korean War soldiers who died in the Battle of Incheon dwell in that house. The house's previous occupants are rumored to have died in mysterious circumstances. The house has been abandoned for so many years. Many people visiting South Korea never miss seeing a haunted house. Amber Ray and her friends claimed they wanted to be terrified because Halloween was just around the corner. Despite some opposing the idea, the twelve friends ended up settling on visiting the haunted places in South Korea.

The troops of South Korea had a b****y history, thus contributing to the numerous ghosts hovering around. That seemed like a joke to them. However, the story behind the abandoned Yengdoek haunted house reflects the soldiers’ suffering before they succumbed. The horrible story touched them. It is terrible that innocent people were killed in South Korea during the wars, thus leading to many spirits haunting innocent people. On the second day, they visit the Yeongdeok Ghost House in a spooky location that was left uninhabited throughout the 1900s and is now the subject of numerous enigmatic ghost stories and public terror. There are rumors that Yengdoek’s house is haunted by the spirits of seven hundred troops who perished there during the Battle of Inchon.

The Battle for Inchon

The Battle of Incheon, also known as the Battle of Inchon; Korean: was a significant victory and strategic reversal for the United Nations Command during the Korean War (UN). Two weeks after the operation, around 75,000 troops and 261 navy vessels recaptured Seoul, the capital of South Korea. (The operation's codename was Operation Chromite.) The combat began on September 15, 1950, and concluded on September 19, 1950. The largely undefended city of Incheon was taken by a surprise amphibious attack distance from the Pusan Perimeter, which UN and Republic of Korea Army (ROK) forces were frantically holding, after being blasted by UN forces. The combat ended the North Korean Korean People's Army's series of successes (KPA). The following UN liberation of Seoul disrupted the KPA's South Korean supply routes.

United States Army General of the Army Douglas MacArthur commanded the UN and ROK forces. MacArthur was the driving force behind the operation, overcoming the skepticism of more conservative generals to launch a daring assault over exceedingly adverse terrain. The engagement was followed by the swift fall of the KPA; within a month of the invasion at Incheon, the Americans had captured 135,000 KPA soldiers. In contrast to Incheon's rapid success, the advance on Seoul was slow and b****y. Many soldiers lost their lives during the b****y operation. The KPA conducted another T-34 attack that was intercepted and destroyed, as well as a Yak bombing run in Incheon harbor that caused minor damage. The KPA intended to derail the UN advance to give Seoul time to fortify itself and remove soldiers from the south. Despite warnings that conquering Seoul would allow surviving KPA forces in the south to flee, MacArthur felt obligated to keep promises made to the South Korean government to recover the city as quickly as possible. The Yengdoek house provided shelter to the soldiers during the war. Unfortunately, the soldiers were miserably killed. The spirits of the deceased soldiers haven’t rested to date. It is the same reason that made the house evacuated and abandoned, as spirits dwell in the house. Yengdoek Haunted House is the most haunted site in Asia because the owners have met untimely deaths, which has led to the proliferation of numerous mysterious tales surrounding this mansion. People in the area think that if you listen closely enough, you can hear the voices of the dead who yearn to be set free and demons that could end your life. The Yeongdeok Ghost House consists of two stories and a little basement. The entire troop spends the entire day at the haunted house. The experience was not for a full-day excursion, but it was frightening enough to make them feel uneasy.

From the look, it is evident that the house has not been maintained for a considerable time since it is covered in graffiti inside and out. Many claims that the house has a nasty side, even though, upon entering, it appears to be a rather ordinary abandoned dwelling. Numerous paranormal experts continue to avoid this location due to the number of ghosts alleged to have been spotted there, despite the abundance of urban legends surrounding it. Everything around the Yengdoek house looked unusual. The wall paintings were imitations of skeletons that imitated blood oozing from different body parts. The drawings and paintings looked so real that the pictures couldn’t leave their minds. During the visit, some people reported experiencing abrupt headaches and coldness. It wasn’t an exception for the twelve friends, as the place looked more like a den of ghosts and spirits. There were scary sounds that birds made, which scared them away. Spending more time at the haunted house became difficult, and they agreed to leave immediately. Weirdly, they all decided to have had queer feelings while at home and felt different after they left the place. “This is an indication of spirit possession.” Dhruv Khan informs his friends, who can’t figure out what he is talking about.

As they plan to leave, they notice it is drizzling. The twelve friends begin arguing about whether to leave in the rain or wait until it subsides. However, the environment wasn’t pleasing. The girls covered their heads with sweaters and went to the train station far away. Shockingly, there was no rain at the station. They looked at it as a result of the evil possession in the area. They couldn’t agree more about the presence of ghosts and their manifestation. That evening Katrina, Hailey, and Della Robert complain of throbbing headaches after spending time at the haunted house. Henry, Amber Ray, and Laura Martins are filled with chills while the train heads to the city. Passengers on the train notice their funny behavior and avoid sitting close to them. Instead, they give them a stern look.
