HOW YOU GOT HERE

"Who are you?" Beauty asked.

"I'm the first son of the Wu family." The guy said.

"From China." Beauty asked.

"Yes I'm from China but I have traveled here recently for my studies." The guy said.

"Are you the one he was said to have kidn*pped lately?" Beauty asked.

"Yes, but I like it here than anywhere else. Here, my views and opinions are taken into consideration and I get to do what I want to do not what other people want me to do." The guy said and Beauty began to understand what Micheal's brother was talking about. He was probably denied that ability to do what he wanted and that was why Michael brought him in. But why did he tell her in a way that was actually imitating that he actually did something wrong.

"That's great and it was nice meeting you, and you'll excuse me, I'll get back to my room now." Beauty said and was about to walk away when the guy grabbed her by the hand.

"Let's take a stroll so that you'll tell me about yourself as well." The guy said. He wasn't asking but he had this pleading look in his eyes which made it impossible for Beauty to deny him.

"Fine, let's go then." Beauty said as there was nothing else to do, even if she goes to her room now, she would just be sitting idle since she couldn't get her phone.

Beauty wanted to let him lead the way but instead he held her hand gently and led her outside the building.

"So what about you? Tell me your name first." The guy said.

"I'm Beauty and you?" Beauty asked.

"Wu Sijue. But you can just call me Jue for short." Wu Sijue said.

"Okay I understand." Beauty said.

"So tell me how you got here too." Wu Sijue asked curiously and Beauty thought his curiosity was a bit suspicious.

"Well I was a girl from a middle class family raised by a single parent, so to help my mom and to avenge my dad who was murdered, I decided to do research and to discover hidden truths. In the beginning I chose what to do myself but I decided that twice in a year my fans or critcizers will give me what to do. And this time my criticizes gave me a challenge telling me clearly that I could choose to or to not do it, I knew that they had their own ulterior motives so I knew it would be difficult but I took on the challenge. They gave me many chances to change my mind but I didn't. I wanted to go to where the cyber security was located to find information and I took my bike for the first time in years. I was going on it when I felt dizzy so I decided to wait and get a lift and in the end I got the lift from him." Beauty narrated leaving out some petty details that she thought that they could use against him if that guy was really a spy. After all Micheal was still a human being which can be fooled or even betrayed so she had to be careful if he really wanted to protect him.

"Oh I see. Your story seems very different from the story everybody else told me, meaning you had the chance to see the road that leads here right? Just do me one last favor and tell me how the road was." Wu Sijue requested.

"When I entered, he and the driver were wearing something over their noses and there was a smell in the car, when I sniffed it, I fainted." Beauty said anyways it was nothing just a white lie. She was even stammering as she spoke she was very good at those.

"Okay." Wu Sijuesaid looking very disappointed but Beauty ignored it.

"Anyways if you like it here then why do you want to know how the way out looked like?" Beauty asked.

"I only want to know." The guy said hoping she would trust him but Beauty did not say anything else.
