I groaned as I reached over for my phone. Who the hell was calling me at 4 in the morning?
"Hello," I grumbled lazily.
"Lacey," mumbled his voice. Now what does he want?
"What Alex?" I groaned.
"I- I just wanted to hear your voice," he said as his voice cracked.
My eyes widen as I realized he was crying. What was going on? Was he okay?
"Alex," I said," Alex are you okay?"
"I love you so much," he whispered.
"Alex, what're you doing?" I said worriedly.
"I- I love you more than anything," he said.
"Alex whatever you're going to do," I said," don't do it."
"I was such an i***t to not believe you," he continued despite my pleads.
"Alex please don't," I begged.
"I should've believed you," he said ignoring me.
"I love you," he announced before disconnecting the call
