JAKE My back was killing me. I was sure the wounds would get infected. I wasn't about to let Minx know. I could see she felt bad enough about this whole situation. I didn't want to make it worse for her. Not to mention that I wanted her to feel safe with me. But as I looked over at her sleeping on the cave floor, I couldn't help but question myself. Here we were, trapped in a damp, musty cave, with no food, and a bunch of Rogue wolves waiting to tear us to pieces. What a stupid idea. I should have told someone our plans.
