My back was killing me. I was sure the wounds would get infected. I wasn't about to let Minx know.
I could see she felt bad enough about this whole situation. I didn't want to make it worse for her. Not to mention that I wanted her to feel safe with me.
But as I looked over at her sleeping on the cave floor, I couldn't help but question myself.
