It had been days since I had left the room. There had been no sign of Riven and there had been no word of how things were going. Jake was still unmoving and I was beginning to feel restless. Jesse visited me often, and so had Carl, but it was little help. I was worried about my mate and my friend. There was no knock. When I jumped when the door opened, when I saw Jake leaning against the doorframe, I jumped to my feet, "Jake?!" I ran over and helped him into the room, taking him to sit on the edge of my bed.
