Chapter 7: Sasha

Demetri P.O.V

We got back to the cabin where Sasha seemed to have settled back to herself. I put some water on to make her some tea as she settled in on the couch by the fireplace. Thankfully in all my travels I had every flavor of tea imaginable.

"Sasha what kind of tea would you like?"

"Chai."

"So tea tea?"

"Oh I hate that joke," she scoffed at me, but I saw the slight smile.

"I just needed to make you smile my dear."

I put her tea to steep as Natalia came in the door and quickly walked over to Sasha & hugged her close. She turned to me and mouthed her tea order. Of course Natalia would be more of a Earl gray girl. I had her tea steep as well I walked over and had to look at my mates. Sasha seemed so much more relaxed but Natalia stroked her hair to help. Natalia mouthed what to put in their teas, and I just nodded as I walked over to finish the drinks. It was so quiet until Natalia started a fire, probably to help Sasha feel cozier. I took them their drinks as I took a seat in the chair closest to Sasha. She took a sip, and then the ice finally broke.

"Thank you so much Demetri. Moon goddess couldn't have given me anyone better."

"I feel the same way about you both, but Sasha what's wrong? I don't like how today went, it all felt wrong."

"That's because we agreed when we found my mate I would leave as soon as possible."

"We?" asked Natalia.

"Alpha Anthony. Let me just tell you the story."

Natalia and I both scooted closer as Sasha sipped on her tea some more. She finally finished it. Sighing she began the tale.

"I'm an orphan from a bad battle when I was only a few years old. The Alpha took me in as his mate died in a previous battle. We kind of completed a broken family. He had Luca from a fling with a human woman who died in child birth. Everything was fine until Luca was 16 and I was 14. He started talking about how we weren't real siblings so we could do things siblings couldn't. I didn't like the feelings I was having so I told the Alpha. He talked to Luca but nothing changed. The Alpha noticed so he sent me to live in a home by myself, I was mature for my age so I was fine on my own. Luca however didn't like it. At school he started having s*x in places I would see with girls to try to make me jealous. He ended up getting homeschooling due to being expelled for all the times he got caught having s*x. I was unfortunately elected as his tutor and it just got worse. I finally quit and the Alpha was furious. I tried to tell him something was wrong but he didn't believe me. I was waiting until I had to get a job outside the pack when Luca crossed the line. I was asleep one night when I was awoken being handcuffed to my bed by Luca. He started kissing me and touching me all over after he stripped me of my clothes. I begged him to stop but he was convinced I would thank him later. I finally mindlinked the Alpha who burst in the room after a few minutes and stopped it before Luca went farther. Luca was banned from entering my house, I was moved as far from the pack house so if Luca broke the rules he could tell, and I was told to stay away as much as possible. It's what made me so happy to work for Natalia before I fell in love with her."

"No future Alpha should act that way!" I yelled, but Natalia glared at me to settle back down.

"He won't be an Alpha," Sasha started," he's wolfless."

"How?"

"His mother's genetics left him wolfless, or so he blames her. The Beta's son Isaac is set to take over as Alpha, Luca just won't admit it."

"What was in the black boxes?"

"His letters. He couldn't come near me so he wrote me letters every day. No matter what I did they always came. If I threw them away he returned them with the next one. He started including drawings of us having s*x, or my naked body, and telling me I'd be his. He started trying to convince the Alpha if I never found my mate we could be married, and I was honestly worried he might agree to it. Luca is too persistent."

"Why didn't you tell me while we were there? I would've strangled him," I growled.

"And what? Start a pack war killing an Alpha's son? The council doesn't allow that, and before you say it no Alpha Anthony didn't report my case to the council. He was scared they'd find Luca irredeemable and lock him away..I was trying to keep us safe."

"Well Luca didn't stop apparently," I tossed the letter from this morning onto the table infront of her, "should I assume the ruckus in the office was Luca trying to arrange the marriage before I staked my claim?"

"Yes, but I didn't know about the letter."

"Regardless I will be intercepting anymore letters and building a case against him for the council."

"Please my love, I honestly just want it to stop and now that I have you two I don't care anymore," Sasha sobbed as Natalia pulled her in for a hug.

I sighed, in all my anger and rage I wasn't helping. She just wanted peace, and she's to the point that's broken. I leaned over and kissed her hand, I wanted her to feel safe.

"This will end my love, and we will be here for you forever."

Sasha smiled at me as she kissed me, "Thank you my love."

"Why don't you two go take a hot bath while I cook dinner?"

"You sure Demetri?" Natalia asks.

"You will take care of her and what she needs, I may be too protective to be of any true help."

"You are the best mate we could ask for," Natalia smiled as she kissed me and led Sasha to the bathroom.

I smile up after them. Once they disappear I rip open the letter and see the contents. She wasn't lying there's a drawing of Sasha spread wide as this Luca f***s her, I can't help but growl at it. As I read the letter I grow angrier, but Luca's delusion is deeper than I thought. He honestly believes Sasha giving me her virginity is so she can practice for him. I read his letter of love proclamations and s****l details of what he wants to do to her. I fold it up and place it in one of my briefcases. I'll get this bastard for all he has done to my love, but for now I need to cook my beautiful ladies some food.
