Chapter 6: The Move

Natalia had taken the rest of the afternoon to go back to the office to take care of ending her escapades. Sasha and I were on the drive over to her packs territory. I had some of my men meeting us at her house, but they were at least an hour out. Sasha had been quiet since we got dressed and left the cabin. She seemed uncharacteristic, very anxious and unsettled. Demon wanted to interrogate her so we could protect her, but I know she needed compassion right now. We crossed into her territory where I saw her mind link someone.

"Most of the pack is at the training grounds, the patrols will be up in the trees. They know who you are but not why we are here," she said as she came back. As we parked at her pack house she grabbed my hand, her eyes pleading with me," please don't say a word and let me handle this."

Demon is pacing in my head, anxious and impatient on what's going on, I don't like it either. I follow behind her through the pack house, which is oddly quiet. We get closer to the Alpha's office where I hear a commotion, but before I can hear what's going on Sasha throws open the door and we walk in. I see Alpha Anthoy behind his desk, and his son beside him, clearly agitated. I think his name is Luca but I'm not given much time to think.

"Sasha," Luca starts but is interrupted by his father.

"Sasha it is unlike you to barge in unannounced, is everything ok?"

"Yes Alpha. This is Alpha Demetri Demantrix and he is my mate. I'm here to request to move to his pack today."

Before Luca can say whatever he clearly wants to, Anthony is up from his desk. He hugs Sasha and quickly begins pushing us out of his office.

"Yes Sasha absolutely. You are free to join his pack today, I'm so happy for you.," and then he slammed the door in our faces. What the f**k is going on? Sasha grabbed my hand and almost ran us back to the car. We drove back to her house where she ran us inside and locked the door behind us. I took the moments I had to notice multiple locks on the door and that she had nothing to really pack since everything was already in boxes. What on Earth was going on? I was snapped out of my observation when Sasha threw her hands around me and hugged me tight. She seemed to finally breathe.

"We just have to pack up my room."

I just nodded and carried her down the hall to her room, she seemed to need a rest from this insanity. We walked in where I set her down on the bed and began putting her clothes in boxes as she packed up the bathroom. We were done quickly but I didn't want her to start rushing again. As she sealed up her last box I pulled her into my lap and kissed her.

"What ever is going on I am here for you til death do us part, OK my love?" I said as I rested my forehead on hers.

She kissed me again and it grew deeper. I didn't care about what was going on just her, so instinctually our bodies got hot. I stripped off her black sundress, bra and panties. They quickly made their way in and began moving things, and I started the car and drove Sasha away. I figured we'd just go back to the cabin. I had already beefed up security around the perimeter and sent a request to make a territorial stake on the acreage since I owned it so I would know if someone is treapassing from another pack. Sasha still seemed tense but it was slowly falling away. I kissed her hand when a mind link came in from one of my men. I arched an eyebrow as I turned to Sasha.

"What do you want to do with the black boxes?"

She turned to me, her expression cold and dark, the anxiousness still lingering in her eyes, "burn them. Burn them where the pack house can see it."

I now knew I needed to know what was in those boxes, and what the hell was going on. Sasha was going to and needed to tell me every last damn thing that had happened in that pack.
