Sin to Ranked first.

This week is our exam week. I have been a consistent honor not just an honor student but in highest honor. I don't want an average grades, I want it to be perfect. I don't want to be in the middle, I want to be the first.

The room is destructed by the incidents occurred that's why I took this chance to study hard and ranked first this semester.

"I bet you'll be the first rank again." Steph said.

"I'm hoping for that but of course, I also want the both of you to be in the ranking too." I replied.

"It's okay if we will not be in the ranks; I'm contented on what my grade will be." Alex said positively.

"Hahaha even if it’s a failing grade?" Steph jokingly asked.

"Of course not, that's not what I meant." Alex replied while all of us laughed.

We were eating in the cafeteria when one of Steph's friend run toward us with a grin smile on her face.

"Steph! Congratulations, you ranked first this semester!"

"Wait! What? What do you mean?" Steph reacted.

"She ranked first?" I asked.

"Yes, I saw it with my own eyes. You should come and see it too!" as she excitedly dragged Steph to the hallway away from us.

The room is quite busy making our research paper, so Alex, Steph and I stayed late in the library since its Saturday tomorrow. We had our dinner their and continued our project.

I am so frustrated that time and what really annoyed me is Steph still talking about her being in rank 1. Like seriously?

"You know what; I still can't believe i made it to the top, like I don't even study that hard but ranked first?" She said.

"It's been a week, why don't you move on?” I asked.

"I' just can't believe it." She replied.

"You've been boasting that for a week, you know that I’ve been striving to be on top then you always rub it on my face, can you be more sensitive? Or you really annoy me in purpose?" I answered.

"What? why would I do that?" She asked..

“You already did!”

"Can you both stop? You guys are not helping, if it’s not for our group project then stop your arguments, okay?" Alex interrupts.

“Can you shut up your not even belong here, this is our fight not yours!” Steph shouted to Alex.

“W-what?” Alex said and shocked is written to her face.

“Hey! You don’t need to shout at her!” I said.

“Oh My, sorry Alex I didn’t mean to shout at you , I was driven of so much anger. I’m sorry” steph said with full of regrets.

“It’s okay, no harm done” Alex smiled.

"Alex, your phone is ringing." I told Alex.

"Oh! Wait a minute; I'll just answer this call. Excuse me" She replied.

“Okay, we'll wait for you.” I said.

“Sorry Iris, I’m so insensitive.” Steph said after Alex is gone.

“No, I should be the one to say sorry it’s not your fault you should be proud of your achievement."

“But still I’m sorry.” Steph said with a regret face.

“It’s okay, don’t worry, no harm done.”

"Guys, I'm sorry but i need to go, my dad just got home from Japan." Alex said when she came back from her phone calls.

"It's okay, you should go home and see your father." Steph said.

“Yeah, say hi from us to Mr. Santos “ I said.

"But i think it will be awkward for the two of you to be alone." Alex said.

"It's okay, don't mind us. Be safe. It's already late." I said while waving.

As hours past by, we still not done to our project we’re almost when Steph spoke up.

"Are you still annoyed?" Steph asked.

"What? No. I told you, it’s okay hahaha, finish your work so that we can go home." I answered.

“Okay, I’m almost done” Steph said.

“Me too” I replied.

Minutes later.

“Let’s go its already dark outside we should go home” I said to Steph.

Steph and I fix our thing and walk out to the library.

“Bye Iris! See you on Monday!” Steph while entering to their gate.

“Yeah bye, let see." I whispered.

“Ha?” Steph asked.

“What? Nothing. I said bye ha ha ha” I laughed nervously.

I walked to my home just meters away from Steph house.

I’m here at my room just browsing and surfing to my phone when I decided to sleep.

“Hayyyyy what a tiring day”

And everything went black.
