Menace

Outcast.

As weeks passed by, Eunice is still quiet and alone. She's being outcast by everybody and calling her a weirdo.

I couldn't stand seeing her alone and bullied by my classmates so I stepped in. As a president of this class, I should make sure that everyone is okay and doing great. I went to ask her if she already had a pair for our science project but she just ignored me.

"You want to be paired with that weirdo?" Mia asked while everyone is laughing.

I just couldn't understand why is everybody always avoiding her?

"I thought we are partners?" Alex asked.

"We are." I responded.

The issue about Eunice being weird already spread online and in the academy in less than three weeks.

But another shocking incident happened. The issue about her grew even bigger.

Alex, Steph and I were on the way on our classroom after having our lunch.

We noticed that the students are heading to the pool area.

"Do you hear about it?"

“What?”

"Someone was drowned in the pool."

“Really? Shocks, what happened?”

"Who is she?"

“Oh my gosh, that scary.”

That’s the words we heard in some of the students while we are walking at the hallway to go in our classroom for our next subject.

So we went to the swimming area and saw a body floating in the pool. Shocks were written in our face when we saw…

“Oh my gosh!” Alex said and start crying

“T-that’s M-m-mia!!” Steph trembled.

Hearing this pool incident, the gym coordinator dive into the pool and get Mia`s body and some faculties are calling for ambulance.

“Everyone, get back to your classroom now!” Ms. Torres Shouted, a Science teacher.

At the classroom everyone was silent. Everyone is speechless. We are still in dazed. Then a teacher walks in the classroom.

"Does anyone of you knows or see who was the last person Mia`s with?" The teacher asked.

"Jenny and I together with Alex and Steph spoke to her earlier before we have our lunch in the cafeteria, I even gave her favorite drink but I think we aren't the last one she's with." I answered.

"She told me that she will be meeting someone in the pool area but she doesn't named who it is." Jenny added.

"How about you Eunice? Do you have anything to say? Someone told me that you are the first person who seeks help for Mia" teacher Garcia asked.

"I really am, Sir." Eunice responded nervously.

"What are you doing there? Are you the one that Mia`s meeting with? “Mr. Garcia asked.

"Then there is also a possibility that you are the last person Eunice with." James randomly commented.

“N-no Sir, I just passed by and I saw a b-body that is floating in the pool then I went to i-it and saw that it is M-mia and I call her many times but she didn’t respond and I panicked so I shouted f-for help-p.” as Eunice stuttered.

"I'm not the one who did that to Mia. I can't do such thing. I don't want to take my lunch in the cafeteria because of I’m too embarrassed to eat there. That's why I decided to eat it in somewhere peaceful.”

While Eunice is explaining, my classmates eyes held an accusations stare towards Eunice. "Maybe you did that to Mia because you are angry with her because she is the one who started the issue about you." Jenny said while sobbing.

"I told you it is not me." Eunice replied.

“Liar!" Jenny shouted

“Gosh, she’s a freak!”

“Monster!”

"Tell the truth!"

"Someone just died!"

"That's enough, everyone can go home now, are class for today is canceled." The teacher Garcia said.

Everyone in the class is blaming her on what happened to Mia.

"She's the one who did it." Primo accused. "I'll bet my fortune that she is the one who killed her." James added.
