“Leo?” I ask in shock as he enters our apartment. It’s late and I have been wondering where he’s been all night. He didn’t tell me that he had a date or anything like that. He just took off and didn’t come home for hours. And now he looks like he’s been in a fist fight. His lip is busted and even in the dim light, I can see a bruise forming on his left cheek. “What happened?” I ask and stumble off the couch to check on him. He pushes my hands away with a frown on his face, “I’m fine.” “You’re not fine,” I growl at him, “what happened?” “Nothing,” he mutters and shrugs out of his leather jacket.
