My foot bounces up and down as I sit impatiently on the steps in front of my apartment building. I couldn’t wait upstairs. I can’t wait at all. What the hell is taking him so long? I stare at the black card in my hands, feeling like I found a long-lost treasure. Something precious. I have no idea where this will lead, but it’s an address. I finally have somewhere to start. The date that Leo had scribbled on the card is hard to read, but it looks like it has been a Saturday a few months before he died. I can’t believe this has been going on for so long. I can’t believe he hid it from me all this time. I almost drop the card when the sound of a car horn blares through the street.
