Dorian’s POV The candles had burned themselves to nothing by dawn, smoke curling from their remains. I hadn't moved from the floor since Eve left. My mind stayed quiet, it felt as though it had stayed far from me all night. Her scent still lingered, I hated that I could still smell her. My eyes drifted to the mark of her fingertips on the edge of the chair across from me, she sat there last night, angry and heartbroken.
