Malik’s POV Morwenna stood under the moonlight, her eyes glowing faintly as she murmured to the spirits. Her hair stayed wild and unbound moving with the wind that carried things I couldn’t see. When she turned to us, her expression was grim. “They are restless.” She said, “The balance is breaking, something A has shifted in Blackthorn.” I exchanged a confused look with Eve. Her brows knit. “Shifted? What do you mean?.” She asked “The veil between the living and the forgotten has thinned.” Morwenna answered sharply. “ Whatever is coming, it’s already begun.
