New school.

(Daniel walked to his room, and grabbed his shirt from the closet. Then his mother entered the room without knocking. He was kinda mad, but then his mother's smile soothes him).

Daniel: good morning, mom why didn't you knock before entering?.

Daniel's Mom: I'm sorry honey, how was your night?

Daniel: it was fine mom, I hope all is well?

Daniel's Mom: it's fine. I just wanna tell you that you're starting your new school today.

Daniel: (surprise) what?I thought you said I was going to start next week. Why did you want me to start today.

Daniel's Mom: Daniel, your dad told me to put you in your new school today, I don't wanna fail his wish.

Daniel: mom that's too early, at least I have to rest for a while. Mom please.

Daniel's Mom: Daniel please listen to me. your dad w ants me to fulfill my duty as your mother. please listen to me and your dad. I know you don't want this but please you are starting today, whether you like it or not. So go and start preparing, you have already be applied.

(she said and left the room. Daniel was angry, all he wanted was one week break. He had been in a boarding school for years and now he had to start a new life once).

(He wondered what school his mother had applied for him. He sighed and entered the bathroom and took a bath. He exhaled deeply and left the bathroom wearing his bathrobe. he took out some clothes from his closet and wore it. He wore an expensive black leather jacket, and a black jeans pants. He dressed to kill, an he was satisfied with it. He doesn't want to look horrible, on his first day is school).

(he smiled and went to the dining room, and ate his breakfast that Diane's Mom prepared for him).

Daniel: good morning aunt.

Diane's Mom: (smiles) good morning son, and why are you dressing like this? where are you going?

Daniel: oh aunt, I am going to school.

Diane's Mom: (surprise) going to where?.

Daniel: I'm going to my new school. my mom and dad wants me to start today.

Diane's Mom: wow, that's so early I....

(then Daniel's Mom came and Interrupted, she looked mad, she glared at Diane's Mom and looked at her from head to toe before speaking).

Diane's Mom: and why are you talking to my son? why don't you mind your business and know why you're here?.

Daniel: mom pleased, she's also part of this family.

Daniel's Mom: Daniel I'm not talking to you, okay? I'm trying to remind her about her place here..

Daniel: but mom, that's too rude. please can you tell the driver in ready?..

(He stood up and went to his room, and took his bag. He then went outside without hugging his mom. While Diane's Mom stood there and apologized before packing the plates from the table).

Daniel's Mom: go and get me my food, how many times do I have to tell you that you should know your place here?.....

(Daniel remained quiet all throughout the ride. He wasn't happy that he had to resumed in all of a sudden. finally they got to school, and his driver, took him to the principal office).

Principal Sean: Good morning young man, how may I help you? I've not seen you in this school before.

. Daniel: yeah I'm Daniel..the new student that will be joining this school.

principal Sean: (gasps) oh it's you. welcome Mr Daniel. don't worry I'm gonna call your class teacher to take you to your class.

(Diane got to the school compound, she went straight ahead to her locker. she smiled and kept her things. School hasn't really changed to her. Everything is still intact. She smiled and took her books to the class. There she met her friend Ari. Ari saw her and went to hug her. none of her classmates welcomed her except for Ari).

Ari: I really missed goggle girl.

(goggle girl, that was her nickname).

Diane: it's been a while Ari, I really missed you so much...

Ari: I missed you too. Let's talk about our holiday. How was yours?..

Diane: As usual. Boring.

Ari: wow! mine was spectacular, I went to Hawaii and spent two weeks. it was fun.

Diane: wow I'm so happy for you.

Ari' what about your childhood friend you always tell me about?.

Diane: oh about that, he's back from boarding school, and he would be staying here.

Ari: you mean he is not going back?.

Daniel:(shook her head) no, not at all.

.Ari: I think you would introduce me to him one day..

Diane: you wish Ari, keep on dreaming.

Ari:(roll her eyes) whatever!.

(the teacher entered the class and smiled, she then stopped and cleared her throat).

Teacher Kim: hey class, good morning, how was your long lasting holiday? well I wanna introduce you guys to your new mate..(to Daniel) young fine man, please Introduce yourself to the class ..

Daniel: (nods) okay, Im Daniel Gerald, 19 years old, a transferred not really transferred students from Caitlin school.

?: that's a boarding school!

?: perhaps a boy's school

Daniel: whatever!(mumbles).

Teacher: okay that's your new seat, go seat beeside that blonde girl.

("he's so handsome", "he's so hot", " he's gonna be my boyfriend soon", "he's an angel"! they were mumbles and gasps. Diane was just shocked).

Diane:( Daniel looked at me and gave me a wink. what is he doing here? should I tell Ari that that was my childhood friend, I was telling her about?) oh my gosh!

Ari: hes so handsome isn't it? he's girlfriend must be really lucky to have him. look at the way he dressed, so smart and rich.

Diane: yeah right?(I mumbled under my breathe. I looked at the back and saw Jessica the queen bee standing before him, blushing. He just looks at me and winked)

Ari: wow he's winking at you.

Diane: someone else probably.
