Chapter 42: Coming
In the Combre House, Dan and Josh are in a room with some of the men working in the Combre House.
Dan is just beside Josh, and he questioned, "How is she?"
Josh clicked his tongue in disgust, "They are really despicable, they didn't give Lilibeth anything to eat since morning, and if I didn't go to check her, the two guards guarding her may do an unforgivable act."
"What do you mean?" Dan questioned.
Gritting his teeth, Josh answered, "The two guards are talking s**t in front of Lilibeth, Dan doesn't ask too many questions, just remembering it makes my blood boil. You can go check her now and don't forget to bring food. I must report this to the captain immediately. He will hate us for sure for not doing our job properly."
