The Color of a Forest

But it's a mistake. When I'm at the door of our jail, I heard the cries of my young miss and the fatty who kept yelling that young miss is a fake and an impostor. I ran inside our jail and saw that young miss stop crying but still whimpering. She is lying on the ground motionless. Her porcelain skin is full of injuries. A paddle, that the fatty threw to hit her head, is beside her body. While the fat slave trader is using his whip to lash at young miss body on the ground.    Blood rushed in my head as I saw the right hand of a fatty holding a whip and going to hit young miss again. I broke the glass I was holding and immediately got the shard of the glass. Without even thinking anything, I ran behind the fatty and stabbed him. I wished this was just a dream. And if it is real, I am hoping that all the pain that young miss got could be passed to me. Just gave the pain that she is feeling to me right now.   I stabbed him repeatedly until he fell down. I immediately went to my young miss, hug and carry her in my back without checking her pulse. As I run outside the jail, I avoid and carefully hide every person that I met, I subconsciously looked at the necklace that I'm wearing when I saw the two-person guarding outside 'Please make it work' and yelp while hiding, "There's a spy inside, the master had been stab to death. HELP."  I wish he really died.    Hearing the yelps, the two guards outside become alarmed and confused, not knowing if they should go inside or not.       Not long after that. There's a female voice cry, "KYYYAAAHHHH... The boss is..." The two guard immediately goes inside to where the voice is and didn't see a figure crouching beside the barrel and the person in her back, even though they are visible. Lilibeth looked at her necklace, and thought 'Did it work?'.    Young miss and I successfully escaped, I felt tired in every inch of my body as I ran. But I didn't even think of tiredness because the young miss is bleeding terribly. She might die. Thinking that this person behind my back, whom I vow to protect may be dead, aches my heart so much.     When I saw a town village not far away, I couldn't even hear the dancing grass and singing of the bird around me. All I hear is my thumping heart. Along the way, all I want is to take my young miss to a nearby doctor.     I entered the village, I didn't take heed to the villager that looked at us strangely. I beg and beg if they ever knew a town doctor. One woman pitied us and led us in the house of a doctor, she even gave 20 copper to us.     The town doctor is really kind, he didn't even accept the copper that I offered. He even said it's fine to stay longer. I nodded and promised that if everything goes well there's a reward, and he just smiled.    But not everything will go in the right direction. Four days ago, the sun soon went down and night began, the lackeys of that fatty knock one by one in every house of the village looking for the two people.     I sought the town doctor, bid farewell to him but he soon saw the nervousness of the young girl before him. He helped us escape through the back door of the house. He even gave us a patch of medicine and a little container containing porridge. And said that the safest place is under the bridge of the town as the people usually didn't go there.    That situation leads us here right now, early in that morning after I settled the place to temporarily become our home, young miss woke up. When I came, I saw her eyes opening, I stopped moving, my body trembled. Her eyes flutter like a butterfly, I was so elated.   When it fully opened, my hand shivered and the bowl of porridge fell from my hands, I approached my young miss face.  At that moment, I'm really happy. All the things that I do are worth it. "Young miss came back".  Young miss just stared at me while I'm muttering. And then, I noticed her eyes. 'Hup,' I gasped. Staring at her in disbelief.    My young miss eyes changed...  It's now a color green…
