Nightmare (1)

Darkness clouded her sight, a black fog is in her way and Liberaine cannot see a thing of what's in front of her. Liberaine looked below her feet but all she saw was dark fog. Her mind is not working right now and clouded. She didn't know where she was and what this place was.    She soon noticed the black fog fading away, but white fog replaced it. This white fog let her feel comfortable. Liberaine walked, she doesn't hear a thing from her movements all she knows is that she is in the void of nothingness.    As she walked, she felt a bulge under her feet and she tripped. She is shocked, from the first time that she is in this place, all she feels and sees is nothingness but the bulge below felt like a stone.    She looked below and white fog was still there, shading her sight. After an hour of walking, the white fog got less thick and the area became clearer. She saw a tree not far away from her. This tree is wilted, the bark is so dry that it could be noticed even just by looking. Liberaine can see the cracking parts of it. Liberaine loves nature, she is a witch, and a witch partner aside from their spell is living with nature. It makes her heartache to see a dying tree in front of her.   She walked closer in the wilted tree, and touched it. She immediately took back her hand away, speechless. The inside of a tilted tree is a humongous power. The tree is just a vessel and cannot take the power it is helding, this must be the reason why the tree is now withering.    Liberaine pity the tree. 'A medium cannot take the power inside, and it will wilt.' She is saddened because of its situation. Even this place is so mysterious, and she didn't know why she was in this place. She wanted to help the tree, atleast to the point where it can give the natural aura of wildness and help it remember the greenness.     By doing that, she needed to seal the power inside of the tree or share some of it and transfer it to her body. Although getting this amount of power is tempting to her, it is dangerous for her. She didn't know if her body could take it. So she thinks of sealing the power inside the tree. Although her body is tired, she really wanted to help the tree at all cost. She put her hand again in the tree. And closed her eyes, she blocked the other pathway of power inside so it can flow in just one way. After the power obediently flows in the way that Liberaine expected where it goes, she takes this chance to form a chanting seal. She opened her mouth to chant, but her voice didn't come out. There are no little balls here to let her borrow their power but she could use her power inside but it would cause her body to be weak in a span of one month. Before Liberaine can process what is happening. The power that obediently follows her flow in the place that she expected to go, overfilled and it surged, causing her dizziness. Liberaine became disoriented and didn't know what to do. She tried to take back her hand, but it glued on the tree.     She closed her eyes trying to concentrate herself to calm down. She felt that she could move her hand back again, but there is something missing. She opened her eyes, and found that she was in the street full of people. The tree is nowhere and this place shocked her silly. The people circled around her,  she looked up and saw a sign that is familiar to her. She's outside the bookstore 'This place... is where I 'die'.'     "Quick, call the ambulance."    "What happened?"   "We didn't know she just collapsed on her own."    "Check first if she is okay."    "Pity, she looks beautiful and a sweet girl."    Looking at the scene before her, Liberaine thinks that she is hallucinating. They are looking at the ground just below her. She followed their sight and saw her lifeless body where her 'soul' is standing.    There is a body of a beautiful blonde woman sleeping below her. But 'sleeping' is not the right term, because that vessel already died at that time. The sleeping girl is her, Liberaine.   The ambulance soon came to that crowded place, the man wearing a nurse uniform came out and checked her body, after checking he shook his head. He wrote something in the paper, Liberaine peeked, saw a bunch of words and after seeing the word 'dead' she froze. Although she has an assumption. Seeing it live is so unreal.   'Her guts is right. This scene.. maybe after I die?' She looked back at her body and soon found that she was transparent. It dampened her mood so much. 'Why I am here..'    An unknown force suddenly bound her movement and the scene changed again. it is like watching a drama on television. The reporters are in the gate, clicking sound from the camera can be heard around the area. The flash of the camera could blind the person they were capturing. The gate is familiar to Liberaine. That is the gate of the Comreind House. In the middle of the gate is an old man who is being questioned by the reporters.   The man looks old, his haggard face is uncomparable in the memory of Liberaine, this old man is the housekeeper of the Comreind House. Black eyes can be seen under his eyes.     Liberaine felt a big stone in her chest, 'Did they forget to take care of themselves after I died?' She felt saddened and wished that all her followers can live happily and forget her as the time goes by. Aside from loneliness in her heart, she's quite confused too. The public didn't know her existence so why would the press bother the Comreinds. Liberaine always faked her identity every time she wanted to do something.   Looking back, Liberaine wanted to see the situation of people inside the house. The scene turned into a forest suddenly. The pace of switching the place is so fast and she almost cannot follow it.  This place is still vivid to her. The forest on the screen is the place where she lived for a hundred of years on earth. Her heart began to calm down and peace came to her mind. Every time her heart is in turmoil, that place helps her to relax.
